Yeah, I think that registering aggressive breeds is the first step in tracking the true statistics around the accountiblility of pits in animal bites. This is pie in the sky...BUT, if animal control was able to know the geographic location of the aggressive breeds, or where they're concentrated, they can best determine preparedness, patrol routes for loose dogs, etc.

I'm going to lunch today with a friend ( ), and my car battery dies. I take it to the dealership and discover that my radiator was leaking. All and all, I just put a grand into my 3 year old truck...after putting a grand into a month ago on general crap. It's out of bumper to bumper warranty and I hate that. I have a loaner, a Focus, and aside from NO pick up, it sure it nice to be in a car instead of an SUV. So, what do you drive and why do you love it? AND, if you "love your car cause it's paid off" - that's great, but not very helpful.

My 8 year old isn't even allowed to play in the front yard alone, let alone walk to school. If you don't have transportation - it's a great time to spearhead a carpool program. This will require that you work, probably with school staff, neighbors and parents. You might have to make a sign on poster board, copy some flyers, or heaven forbid knock on a door or pick up a phone. Here's the thing...people, by nature, usually want to help. However, we've become a society that doesn't want to ask - or even acknowledge - the people in our "communities".

A White Trash Wine Party... You pair wines with different trash food, like QuickTrip toquitos and Krystal chicks. I thought it was such a great idea that I had to share.
