  1. That's funny and if someone were to really do that, oh boy would that stink, as in smell REALLY bad.
  2. It's a long shot, but if the trees are near power lines, see if the power company will come out and remove them.
  3. This is AWESOME news and made me cry. Thank you God for answering prayers.

I have no idea. Maybe if it's on an SD card, they must assume it is your photo, since it's a bit more difficult to transfer scanned items to a memory card as opposed to a flash drive. At least I "think" it's harder to to put on an SD card. However, if it's a photo on paper that is clearly professional and you can't prove you have the rights, then they won't let you. Then again, not every photo person checks, a local store didn't check my friends pro pics when she made copies. I, on the other hand ALWAYS get checked if I go in with paper pics. InLA, if the pics are on YOUR own memory card,

Photo labs won't copy any professional photos, most of the time they check. I believe their is a 75 year copyright applied to all professional photography.
  6. Congratulations, Subby. Good things come to those who wait. I, too, am very happy for you, may all the positivity continue for you.
  7. Yep, Paulding Gymnastics is great.
  8. Robert with Tree Works Unlimited. We have had him remove trees from our yard and he is very professional. He does a great job and other than the tree(s) being gone, you won't be able to tell they were even there. That's how good his work and clean up is.

Yes, that's exactly right. Keeping that many photos would have to take up a massive amount of memory. I really like the way TCPics has done the photo ordering this year. Usually we only have a couple of weeks to order from a printed form, but this way we can just go online and order what we need and if we decide we need more, they are available. This is probably a huge money saver for them too, since they don't have to print out all those forms with a proof on them. Thes school photographers are very pricey for the limited amount of work they do. For those with Seniors, you are WAY bette

TCPics did my son's Senior pics, we were happy with them. My DD started high school this year and TCPics did them and we were given a card with a reference number on it to look at and order her undergrad pics. I like the system, but there is a deadline and it is clearly stated on the card. I have to order by December.
  11. I love that song. Every time it comes on the car radio I crank it up, it drives my DH nuts. He can't understand why I like the song.
  12. I took one of mine to the cleaners and it cost me about $35. and it wasn't clean. I had to take it back and asked them to wash it, I did that to start with, but they didn't listen. The reason I knew it was still dirty is because one of my dogs had hiked on it, hence the need for cleaning, and it was still on it. So, if your comforters are some that can washed, try using a laundry mat, otherwise make sure you find a good dry cleaner. Let me say, the cleaner I took it to IS a very good one, I just don't know what happened, but they did make good on it.
  13. Well, I learned something new today. That's cool.
  14. That's funny you mentioned car batteries. I guess someone tried it in the Hiram WM this evening, there was one in the floor with liquid coming out of it. There was someone standing next to it while another person came to clean it up.
  15. Well, you know I showed this to my DH and he had to try it. The batteries in my mouse are going bad, so he compared those to brand new ones from the pack and sure enough it worked. We tried it on the kitchen table (wood) and the tile floor, same result. Very cool tip/trick!
  16. I use Greased Lightening to clean mine every other time or two. I always use regular Windex to clean it after every use, it makes it very shiny. Lowrider mentioned using Easy Off for getting the cooked on parts, I think I'm going to try that around the one burner that has something burned on it and I haven't been able to get it off. I'm not willing to use a brillo pad.
  17. Yes, it is sad. I would really like to know myself if he's okay. My friend saw the accident after it happened, but before EMS arrived. She said other people were already around him trying to help.
  18. When I spoke to my Liberty agent initially, she ran the numbers and said replacement was at about 175K ish, but Allstate claims 241K. Those differences just don't make any sense to me. Hopefully, come Monday I will learn more.
  19. First let me say, I did not see the accident. My friend saw it about 3:15 today near the Home Depot/ Target shopping center off 278. She said it appeared to be a younger teenage kid, not certain of age and that bike looked really bad. She has been worried about him/her ever since and wanted me to ask on here. Either way, I pray that the kid is okay.
  20. The Allstate agent told me they will not reduce the limit. The rental house, the one in question, has a mortgage. My home in Hiram is paid for free and clear, it is with Liberty Mutual and I would like to have them both with Liberty. Now, what I am trying to find out is why the insurance company won't reduce the limit to what the mortgage amount is, $140K compared to $241.5 K limit. I want the limit set to what I owe, 140K. There has never been a claim made on that home or mine here, ever. Nor has there been a hurricane to hit the area since 1979. I now understand that replacement costs are hi
  21. I've had Allstate for years and switched agents because my previous agent retired, the new one is awful and comes across as being very untrustworthy. I've also contacted my Liberty agent to see if it can be insured now, but haven't heard back from her yet. It looks like I should get a quote from CC and see what he says. HW&M, State Farm is one of three companies I'm waiting to hear back from. It used to be with them, but when I inherited the home, I wanted everything under one company.
  22. Can anyone help me? I have two homes, one in Hiram and one in Savannah (rental). My home home and auto here are with Liberty Mutual and my other is with Allstate, a Landlords policy. Liberty will not insure the rental home right now due to the location and chance of storms, so I have kept Allstate. Well the premiums with Allstate have increased significantly so I called my agent to see about reducing the limits, they refuse. Can they do that? They have the replacement cost listed as 31K over what it was appraised for 2 1/2 years ago and 100K more than I owe on the mortgage. Does anyone have an
