  1. Well if it was better thought then the health care bill then the old health care program was just the best thing since sliced bread then ? HUH I guess your health care is a lot better then the millions and millions without any and they get a free ride on the rest of us that are paying for it.
  2. I wonder which group costs more in medical insurance? Then raise the rates of those in the higher risk group. Let those that are not working to keep healthy, pay the cost of not living healthy with higher rates. They do it with car insurance.
  3. Yup it is a Zuchinni fat one at that too...
  4. Can you guess what it is? It is not in the melon family.... <<< It is in the Melon family....
  5. Odd but very talented.... Something about the two go hand in hand.
  6. I can't wait to see how people get around Atlanta in 10-15 years with the current roads.... Should be very interesting for those with long commutes. I can understand being rural and all that, but what if Paulding wanted to maintain the rural setting with only two lane roads? what kind of drive to the store would it be now?
  7. I can definitively add to that, Mark has done a great job working to sell my home in Georgia and we are winding down to closing. He has done 10 times more then my agent in Virginia has done. He does what other agents fail to do and goes the extra yard to keep us informed and up to date with how things are progressing along. I am so glad I found him as our agent. Awesome agent
  8. Thanks for the update I wish her the best... hope she gets well soon and back out and about.
  9. Plane is going anyway for other public relations reasons, kids are only a little extra and have an added bonus with some countries. Puts America in a more personable look.
  10. Smart move and can I say 30Years in the military? Looking that way.. Congrats....
  11. If you only lost some value, then it is not wise to walk away. The market will rebound in a few years. It is those that bought on the top of the bubble that are in the worst spot. To rent your home and buy a bigger cheaper home.... I am not to sure on this one. Check around for sound advise on that one. Mark W. is pretty sharp and could give you some good advise on that. Good luck.
  12. I fall some place in between. I understand the housing market and how homes gain and lose value. But I can also see the purely business view of not paying on a home that has seriously lost over half of it's value and that it will take 20years to get back to it's purchase price. Why would you continue to pay on a home that you owe $400,000 that is now worth $200,000 and you owe $350,000? It makes no business sense to continue paying on it. The house next to that will be sold for $200,000 and you wil toil for 15 years paying down a loan for what reason? Also >>>> Because a bus
  13. Sending a message also helps maybe before. not buying helps after the fact. Androids are Ok phones so far, still with issues as does my Fascinate. I give Apple the edge for doing things right the first time.
  14. Just when you started to save a few cents a gallon... the state wants their share... http://www.wsbtv.com/gas-prices/28113210/detail.html Georgia does have one of the loosest tax rates on gas though.
  15. Been to Key west twice and loved it... not really for kids... Stayed at the Pier house.... I bit expensive, but well worth the price.. Private beach and bars and nice and quiet.
  16. Admins are not just fickle but very biased to what they leave on the main thread and what goes. Even and fair have very little to do with items in the main thread area. It is mor about who you know and if you fit in the group that can post what they want . It is a norm to get the edit and or move if you don't know some one per se. Just calling it like it is admins..... just look at the main thread... full of items that should be in different area, but a lot still in the main thread. Very biased in how threads are left or moved, depending on who you know on the board.... J
  17. God the good ol boy system will never give in as they might have to face a loss. Dang.... Good luck
  18. Slightly off topic, but related I could care less of the party lines, but when they have these ridiculous lines for which precinct you vote in and change the lines each year to fit the ruling party is really stretches the limits. I would like to see the lines draw by the county you live in ... period.
  19. Come on someone down there can do this for the lady..... It takes about 30 min max from start to finish.... Careful if you use two flat head screw drivers that you don't put a hole in the tube.
  20. I agree with you, but the vast majority ( I seem to have worked with since I got out) believe the later and if they come in 10-15 min lat, well that is just the breaks. It drives me nuts, but it seems to be the norm. Heck I start at 9 and most days get there at 8:30 , but I do leave close to to get off time and not much later unless I am working a call or something.
  21. Thats a lot of tickets, you need to report your self for and pay. Now just march on down to the police office and report your self and pay the ticket..... Speeding and getting a ticket is very illegal, but running a red light is worse....
  22. You should have said ... " are you one those "People of Wal-Mart"? can I get your picture and send it in?
  23. Hey give the starter of it being a political issue the BS that you are dishing out and not me. I just punt it back..... Oh and if you want to trash someone.. Read the threads a little beyond one or two before to start trashing someone, So at least you have a better idea of the thread....
  24. I don't see this as a Dem. or Rep. item. It's more of a your own future item and what you make of it. You can plan for job loss and most other issues in your life. No one guaranteed you a job for life. And you can't always blame someone else for whats wrong in your life, but you also need to take some personal ownership too. On the Democrap note.... Republicans always vote for big business.... And I don't think anyone on here is big business and the trickle down affect hasn't worked.
  25. If you want your slice of the pie you have to work at it and not expect it to be handed to you. (not pointing fingers at anyone) I have worked very hard to get where I am, and changed my career path about 11 years ago. I feel I am doing very well in my current line of work. I have some college and mostly perseverance in increasing my knowledge in my current field that has enabled me to grow and increase my salary. Lastly if you enjoy what you do for a living you will excel at it, and that is a large part of getting your bigger slice of the pie. If you want more money and jobs in
