I agree with Psychomom. You need to take care of you , your family , nand your job first, then go see your Mother. When she gets nasty, your visit is over and tell her you will be back another day to visit again. Why stay to be abused? Just excuse yourselef and go back to your own life.

Just for me here, I crochet up a storm. I have done all kinds of things like many ,many afgans, a lot of hats for the whole family, shawls, scarves, vests, puppets, just oodles of stuff for myself or the family.I paint with oils some, embroider, cross stitch a little, no sewing!!! Sewing makes me so nervous that I have to take pills for it, so I have quit trying to sew. Crochet calms me down completely. Great news!!!! I got mine on the first application without having a hearing, but I had just had back surgery and was on a walker for 5 months. Now I am trying to go back to work part time. So glad to hear yall got it.

I come from a very dysfunctional family. My sisters and brother, no touching or anything, smiles and hugs, although my brother is in danger of a big hug soon for helping me out of some tight spots lately. I can't remember exactly what he did , but when a man tuned my big honky tonk upright, it took him all afternoon and he said he wished someone had told him it was an upright before he came so he would have planned more time. He wanted to replace my base strings but I didn't get him back yet. Ask Subby, pm him. He should know. But old uprights are harder to tune than regular pianos are but aren't they pretty? Mine is refinished in mahogany, just gorgeous!

Best wishes with this tomorrow. You might not get to speak at all from what I have heard from other wives. And he might not hear if he gets it for a couple of months, most don't hear for a while. I have a friend on oxygen 24/7, has a heart blockage, diabetes, depression, PAD, and COPD that has been turned down for two years but went to a hearing last week. They will mail him a letter the judge said about whether he gets it or not. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers in the morning.

Yep, I knew the pay stinks before I signed on. But I didn't know that some parents would lay on their butts and let their kids go hungry and with holey shoes and raggedy clothes that were too small for them.
