This sounds like the kinds of projects that he Comunity Chest helps with. Why don't you send the Community Chest a pm and see if they might can find someway to help you out? Everyone needs a helping hand every now and then.

No, I haven't seen a state that was ugly yet. And Lancaster was very pretty. I have seen some of the most beautiful country in Georgia too, back off Old Cartersville Highway there were some gorgeous vistas, not even sure they are still there or if construction has taken them. The mountains in northern Georgia have some very pretty sites too and some very rugged ones.

What state have you had bad luck in getting tickets in? My vote is Delaware. Don't go to Delaware!!!!! They look for out of state tags and pull you over . Tennessee used to be bad for speed traps, not so much any more. Any other states that you think are ticket traps?

Arizona is one state that I have not had the pleasure to see yet. The only states out west I have seen are California, Nevada which was very pretty too what I saw of it, and Montana.

I turn mine off every night too. Home computers using electricity 24 hours a day is one reason why new power plants are having to be built, is what one engineer in the power plant field told me. I also like to think if I shut it down, it won't stand as much chance of getting hurt in a thunderstorm by lightning.

Hey yall, what state have you been to that you think is the prettiest? And why? I have only been to 26 states so far. I used to think Virginia was the prettiest state because of the rolling hills, small mountains and all the trees , but since I have been to Pennnsylvania this summer, I have to say I think Pennsylvania is the prettiest. Everywhere I looked there were all these houses from the 1700s and flowers everywhere. Roses galore, old roses, new roses. Most of the little towns were all decked out with flags and tons of flowers. There were a lot of horses, beautiful horses. And the tre

I need to celebrate the fourth early too. Can I have a good ole American firecracker mayberry too? -
Also, if you go over to Cherokee, there is an awesome Cherokee Museum, all kinds of Native American artifacts there including a huge dugout that was found in a riverbed in Alabama several years ago. It is awesome. If your kids like Indian stuff at all, they should like that. There is also a Cherokee Indian Living History village, not the real name of it, where they can see how the Indians really lived, really cool.

Oh yeah, I did the gem stone mining too with my teenage niece and my sister and we giggled the whole time. We loved it. And I went inside and had an emerald ring made out of an emerald I I found in my bad of dirt. I found some saphires too and other things in my dirt that I might have ear rings made out of sometime. Huck Finn's is a great place to eat in Pigeon Forge. It is somewhere close to Dollywood but on the other side of the street.Sometimes they have singers singing and picking banjos and stuff like that. Christus Gardens is nice on the religious side, went there many years

Go to the aquarium! I love it, love the big sharks swimming right over your head and I can see them up close.

My husband and son were just the opposite. My purse is my one thing that is really mine and I don't want anyone in it at all but me. They were forever wanting to get in my purse and I would throw a fit about it, nothing in there secret, it is just my one thing that is private. I was not allowed in his wallet, so why should he go in my purse? But he thought he could and then there was war. I still pick it up at night and carry it to the bedroom with me when I go to bed, I mean this is my PUTSE we are talking about here and I don't want the prowlers looking in it either if they break in

I Just Found Out My Triglycerides Were Still High
twogrand replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Well, thanks for starting this thread PM. I just pulled my 2008 test results out of the drawer. NOT GOOD! NOT TERRIBLE. Total cholesterol in 2008 had jumped to 217, was 163 in 2007 and 169 in 2006.Twenty years ago it was under 200, have been watching it ever since. Good cholesterol was 40, have been working on that trying to get it up to 50, dieting and exercising. More chicken please! LDL was 133, need to do something with that one too. Triglycerides were 219 which I had no idea should have been a lot lower. VLDL was 44, I don't even know what that one is. My docto -

Walter Cronkite's not expected to recover....
twogrand replied to cuteyellowbug's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Cronkite is I think the only person in the media that I never heard a single bad word said about him. He was enormously popular. Many wanted him to run for President, but he did not want to. Prayers for you, Walter, and thank you for being such a good newsman for so many many years. You will be missed. -
What is the going rate for having someone cut your grass?
twogrand replied to winston1972's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I was getting really desperate to find someone to mow for me this year and an angel walked up to my door and asked if he could mow for me. An Hispanic man came and asked if he could mow for me when he saw how high my grass was at that time. I have never seen a better mowing job done in my life. I pay$35 every two weeks , sometimes sooner than that. He mows and does some weedeating and never has mowed any of my flowers down. I have always had trouble with males mowing my flowers down, but he said"I know better than to come between a woman and her flowers ".LOL I tell him every week how much I
