Is it OK for a 12 year old to be driving a vehicle around
markdavd replied to dawneykids's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I'd be worried that the 12yo might hit another car, run down a mailbox or worse, hit a child. Contact the Sheriff office every time you see him driving. I wonder if they can (threaten to) impound the car because he's driving without a license and obviously he's not insured. -
Check with Pubby to be sure, but unless they've changed the rules I believe in this case you can put the name in the title.

Maybe you get bad customer service because you...

Don't forget the customer who wait's until they're told the total then acts surprised that they need to pay, spend forever digging they wallet out of their bottomless purse, then slowly dig more for the 'exact change' they just know they have. -
I'll have my wood crafts there this year. Everyone stop by and introduce yourselves!

Way to go Congress, US Poultry Producers lose another market

You're saying the myth of anthropomorphic global warming never came up as a reason to pass this bill? -

I thought the ethanol was necessary to combat global warming climate change Global Climate Disruption. What good is having corn to feed the chickens if they're going to be cooked by the climate? -
Zero tolerance . . . The kid put his hand in his backpack, made a gun with his finger, yelled 'BANG' and the rest is history . . . It fits the original story as written.

At this point are the reporters even sure it was a real gun or a toy/cap gun?

That's what I was thinking. It's the UPS store, so it was probably in a stack of packages all signed for at the same time. Easy enough to miss a wrong delivery. I would think they would sort the packages sometime the same day so they can be found quickly when their customers come looking for them. At that point a mis-delivery should be caught and dealt with.

It's both the third of four full moons in a season AND the second in one month. This one is the third of 4.
-
Why did the UPS store just sit on it instead of having it re-delivered to where it was supposed to go?
-
By now, the supplier should have a new set of castors on it's way to their customer and should be filing a claim with UPS. That doesn't mean Surpip can't work with the local UPS to see where the driver actually delivered the package. A few months ago, we were expecting a package via Fedx. I got the delivery notification on my phone and called my wife who said the package wasn't there. She immediately called Fedx who called the driver. It turns out it was delivered half-way across the county to a similar address. (We're 12 xxx Trace, they're 12 xxx Terrace.) The driver had to go back

Good question. I wonder how long it will be before the Justice Department shuts down companies that manufacture, import or sell those masks?

I guess to some, Halloween and Trick-or-Treat are the same thing. To others, they are two totally different things that may or may not fall on the same night, depending on what area of the country you are in.

Paulding Meadows is always the weekend after Labor Day. This year Sept 7 & 8.
-
It depends on what area of the country you're in. For someone who recently moved here from an area where the local town determined the time and date of beggers night, it's a valid question.

Interesting but the NorthEast passage has been opened for commerce since 1934: There is evidence that it was first navigated in 1660. Was the Northeast Passage first navigated in 1660?

I would say the bacon flavored condoms and talk of camel toes someone kept bringing up were slightly offensive. -

Only if you are also offended by the idea that men (brothers) are "against" you. If you don't meet both criteria you can't be offended by that. -

It's obviously an attack against anyone who considers themselves to be a "Crazy Old Nutcase" and who are also offended by the idea of men who are "against" them. -
My guess - had the juror been allowed to stay, he'd be asking the verdict to be overturned because the juror didn't understand the charges and testimony presented. If there was a translator present, he'd say the translation wasn't accurate.

If a member were to disclose their identity on another site, say Facebook, would you continue to work to keep their identity secret here? -

Where in the P.com rules is the guarantee of anonymity? I want to invoke it!
