Hmmm, my research indicates that Jerry Shearin was the ONLY Board Commissioner in the HISTORY of Paulding County to get re-elected... we saw how well *that* turned out. And what gets me, people still go on and on about "Paulding Good Old Boy System", yet we can't get people in this county to move away from voting for an incumbent. Isn't that how the "good old boy" system gets started: by re-electing the same people every time or voting for someone b/c of their name or who they are related to?
