Chairman Austin says jobs is why he is for the airport
LPPT replied to gpatt0n's topic in Fastread page
Let me tell you another story, about men and women that bought the land here by the sweat of their brow so their children would have something. Many of their children have something now. The first to come here were not looking for peace and quiet, they were looking to have land to make a living. Many bought it walking behind a mule from dawn to dust growing cash crops for more acreage and shoes for the their kids. Many here have realized the dreams of their mothers and fathers. The airport land? most of it was owned by a carpetbagger. I hope that the children of those that owned it were ma -

Poor thing, it must have sounded funny after a couple of glasses of wine. She should have said don't worry I won't adopt the culture while I am there -
The hospitals ability to control their cost is not Medicares problem. These hospitals contract to be in network knowing they have to discount their services. Why should medicare reimburse them more than Bluecross/Blueshield?

That is exactly why Wellstar is doing it. There is way too much administration in healthcare. With a system, you can have say 5 as administration, when you stream line with electronics those 5 people can do administration for up to 10 doctors at a time. The doc fills in the blanks on a computer instead of a written record, hits send and his claim starts being processed in seconds. I have been with Kaiser a long time, I observe and ask questions. Their doctors and staff never seem stressed or in a hurry. They are always genuinely nice and helpful, you can't fake that for long. It is very lo

Chi's and cats have really weird relationships. The cats can whoop their azz all day long but don't. My chi's play games were they chase any cat that tries to walk through the room, the cats screw with them acting like they are going to go for it, get the dogs excited, then lay down and lick their paw like they are gonna nap. This is a game played out over and over in my house all day. If someone hurts someone, they have to answer to Bear, he will literally curl is paw like a hook and pull the perpetrator against his chest until they calm down. It is a zoo here!

FORGET MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!! -
Oh I did it, her answer to that is I have nothing to do with you anymore cause my daddy lets me do it. She will come crawling back to me after I get her a hysterectomy next month. Payback is hell in this house LOL! She will be nice to me after that cause she don't want nothin else cut off. Worked with everyone of them.

Nope! she is now daddy's girl. The scratching and biting puts me off. She is getting better. I guess she got it out of her system if the scars on his hands are a good indicator. His hands look like he was practicing Karate with the rose bush. I sympathize with these dogs that sheeze hurts!

Do me a favor, turn him into a capitalist while you are at it :p

We have opportunity zones here in the county that give substantial and needed tax incentives to encourage manufacturers to move here and create jobs. You can not single out a business in that zone and refuse to do for them what you would do for the new industry. That is integrity even when you wish circumstances were different. They are no worse than the businesses all over the county that pay minimum wage. I can tell you this, if Jamie can help it, there will be no new businesses coming into our industrial sites getting tax abatement and incentives for minimum wage jobs. -
I though Fl. was one of their states. Are you hearing anything about a hospital starting a system you can pay directly into like Wellstar is? Our premiums will go down because the government capped the profit margin on insurance companies. That forces hospitals that go direct to compete with insurance companies premiums because people will always want to pay less. It is a win for the American people, more coverage less money in the long run. We won't be going to socialized medicine unless the insurance companies bail on us. One of the things that has always bothered me is countries with

The bronze with Kaiser was 380 a month. Don't lose hope, we could see much lower premiums within 6 months depending on how many start paying something.

A lot of people want to stay with their company, check with other carriers many companies are better prepared than others.

Rather than discuss the points of this article I would share my thoughts as I dialed the number to renew my insurance. These are the things I believe that I know going into it. The new affordable care act, ACA from here on. Was written to be comprehensive, one of those concerns were people purchasing insurance based on what they could pay monthly, business did the same. These premiums were paid for years in good faith. They also bankrupted many in the process of diagnosis and early treatment. Once you are bankrupted you have defeated the purpose of what you paid in for. It was basically

Go to the Kaiser website and get a number to talk to a person.

I have said this many times As I’ve written many times, the political class is only the veneer of the state; it is not the state itself. The state is the permanent bureaucratic structures, those untouched by elections. These institutions make up the real ruling apparatus of government. With this airport issue and many others, yall are holding the wrong people accountable. Pubby has said it and I have said it. If they do not become an issue of the upcoming elections whomever you vote in office will do exactly the same.

The contracts were signed before the press release. It had a code name during the process. The company can decide to do a press release early but it would be extremely unusual to do so. Some companies will even back out if the word gets out. The state allows us to offer incentives such as tax abatement if the company qualifies under the term. This is how the state of Georgia and other states entice companies to locate from other states and over seas. Everybody does not like it. There are a lot of people that believe companies that left the states did so due to regulations and taxes. States

We live in a time when a teen says we are going together, meaning we need birth control ASAP is common. The double standard is alive and well simply because it is part of nature. The still suffers the consequences when it comes to sexual encounters. What is interesting is overhearing my son and his friends talk about girls. The 2 types have not changed over time. There are the sluts, basically a semen receptacle and there are the girls they want relationships with. One thing that startled me was that almost all of them were over the sluts by age 14 and were abstaining waiting for a rel

I got a letter saying I could keep my old plan or go with a compliant plan. I was a little worried about all the requirements making it go up. I called Kaiser and got quotes for the compliant plans. My premium was $59 less,my deductible was 1/2, my co-pays stayed the same. Also many more things not subject to the deductible. I did not go through the gov website. I did learn that you can go to the healthcare market place without submitting your financial information. The plans are basically the same for all carriers. It is just the cost that is different.

You have motivational speakers from all over the country that speak at chambers and business associations all over the country. Usually they are promoting books, some get paid fees. Jim Galloway from the Atlanta constitution will be speaking at our business association meeting next month. Anyone can click on the logo on the left side of the page for more info or even purchase an online ticket to attend the meeting. I always enjoy the speakers and learn something from every one of them. I know the labor commissioner talked to us last year about soft skills. Kathy Ledbetter spoke to us tha

My understanding is an income stream. It takes years to build huge manufacturing facilities. Interroll took 2 years. It will be cheaper in the long run to do the manufacturing. Our airport is not designed for a huge passenger service. There would be a lot of changes to be made and it would be easier to build a whole new terminal.

YOU KNOW WHY SANTA IS SO JOLLY? HE KNOWS WHERE ALL THE BAD GIRLS LIVE!!!

I was pointing out a reality to you. There are little towns in CT, that have no industry. They have exclusive little retail shops, they commute, they like it that way. We don't have to diversify this tax base at all. Our politicians have the right to raise our taxes to keep up with demand. Those that don't like it can sell and move to where they are lower. That is the basis for a true bedroom community. The better the schools, parks, recreation the more willing they are to pay the taxes. Sound familiar? And who makes the big bucks? the realtors, the banks, the government employees.
