  1. My son is 16 and is fused with rods and bone from T4 to L3. He had surgery 2 years ago. He actually had a double curve. He hit a growth spurt and went form 27 degrees to over 50 in 3 weeks. His spine was also twisted, causing kyphosis. It was a very scary time. His surgery started at 0730 in the morning on a Friday and he was discharged Sunday morning. I made sure he knew how important getting out of bed and walking as soon as possible. Also, I told him all about the catheter and prepared him as much as possible. I explained to him that his face may be very swollen from laying face down on

  3. I work in an environment where management is VERY concerned about customer service. So much so that our merit increases and bonuses depend on high positive patient satisfaction scores. I go out of my way to compliment great customer service! I just sent an email to the regional manager of Verizon today for exceptional service at the Thornton Road store.

  10. Congratulations to the others that made it, too!! I'm so excited for them! TabbyCat- He plays the trombone. Stuck in Traffic- I totally agree with you. I don't think I could be any happier for him than I am right now. If he makes it, great. If he doesn't, still great. He is kinda upset that he won't be able to volunteer this summer if he gets it. He volunteered at Cobb last summer and loved it. Either way, he will be a happy camper.
  11. Thank y'all! I can't wait to see if he makes it.
