My son is 16 and is fused with rods and bone from T4 to L3. He had surgery 2 years ago. He actually had a double curve. He hit a growth spurt and went form 27 degrees to over 50 in 3 weeks. I work in an environment where management is VERY concerned about customer service. So much so that our merit increases and bonuses depend on high positive patient satisfaction scores. I don't think I could be any happier for him than I am right now. If he makes it, great. If he doesn't, still great. He is kinda upset that he won't be able to volunteer this summer if he gets it. He volunteered at Cobb last summer and loved it. Either way, he will be a happy camper.

My 16 year old has made it to the state level of interviews for Governor's Honors in music!!! I am SO proud of him. If he is a finalist, he will go to Voldosta State for 4 straight weeks to study in his major and also he will get to choose a minor. It is an incredible opportunity for him..

I didn't realize this was such a big event. I was there working a booth for our Joint Replacemnt and Spine Center at WellStar Cobb. We gave out 1000 bags and tons of goodies!!
