They are not using busses for kids within a certain distance from the school to save money. You can bet that building sidewalks and/or an overhead crosswalk would NOT do that. Financial Analysis' make these decisions. It's nothing personal it is simply looking at the bottom line.

That's crazy. So if you smoke on Friday night after work you can't drive for up to 30 days because it might show up in your blood? Stupid way to word a law. Also, since it does stay in the blood for much longer than booze I think it's a bit much to be on pcom presuming that the kid is guilty.

Why to people continue to put talking on the phone in the same context as texting? With one your eyes aren't on the road and with the other they are. Not even close to the same animal. And why in heavens name should it be against the law to text IF YOU ARE NOT MOVING? Isn't your thought process (and the idea behind the law) that people should NOT be texting WHILE moving? So are you saying we are only able to send a text message from our sofa in our darkened living room?

This is my issue. I have to pay for 2001 and 2008 but an older car can sit right beside me at a traffic light and pour out noxious(sp) smoke that just about chokes me. How does that help with the air quality. I think if they are going to test it should especially for the older models.

This bugs me too but I think sometimes it's because I would really prefer not to get dressed either but I KNOW how stupid I would look. My theory is, if I have to get dressed so should you, dang it.

I agree 200% with the exception of the cameras. From what I have learned these are placed instead of the sensors in the roads to make the lights change when a car is waiting for an arrow or a green. Makes more sence to me that the road sensors that get paved over 100 times until the no longer work or which didn't really work that great to begin with.

Get a flipping clue! True or not saying Vote Yes or we'll raise your taxes is blackmail. example ("If you don't pay me money I will release these pictures to the media." So payment isn't made and the pics wind up on the internet. The threat was true but was still blackmail) Only the government agencies practicing THIS blackmail won't be charged. The SPLOST has been in effect and the property taxes have gone up and up and up so voting it in did absolutely no good. Voting yes now will only mean we will have to continue paying the SPLOST and they will raise property taxes anyway. Again,

I hate the blackmail line they always add. "approve the SPLOST or we'll raise property tax" How about "if you don't approve the SPLOST we'll adjust the budget and throw less money away"? Wow what a concept!

Yes that was rather my point. He took an admittd deficit from the Bush post 9/11 Presidency and blew it up to what it is today. We will be years digging out of the mess obuma has created in just the short time he has been in office. To suggest that he be given another 4 years to truly make it so we can never recover is lunacy. His goal to distroy this great country is what people will dispise about him for years and years to come. How would eym explain how a person who is obviously totally unqualified for the office would be able to land the nomination much less be elected as president

Okay, first obuma has degraded the leadership AND the country at every turn (apoligizing for America to people who want to distroy us around the world, bowing to everyone but the janitors and that's only because the janitor wasn't there).
