  1. I would like the recipe, too, please.
  2. :yahoo: That is the BEST news I've heard in awhile!! Hope it is SOON, Mark!! :yahoo:
  3. Looks like Tuesday is a popular night for chicken! DH is frying chicken fingers with his secret batter recipe. Fresh Green Beans Mashed Potatoes Sliced Tomato Rolls Watermelon and Cantelope for dessert. The youngest DGD is spending the night so the menu was catered to her favorites.
  4. And your name is WHAT????? You do have a point there BUT......can never get enough of ya!! Love You, too!
  5. I was glad to see your name on the thread, Mark. No, you haven't missed a dadgum thing over here but I've missed YOU!!
  6. OKAY Folks......David is going all out to provide something outta the box for Paulding County. OPEN MIC will be at The Dugout Saturday night starting at 6:00. Bring your guitar, keyboard, whatever and entertain everyone with your talent. IF you do not play an instrument but still want to sing and be part of the fun bring your favorite karaoke CD or and be ready to sing!! It will not be set up as a "typical" karaoke but will allow folks to sing, pic 'n grin, laugh and have a good time in a fun outdoor environment. Not to mention you cannot beat the ALL YOU CAN EAT Burgers & Wings Deal.
  7. Ahhhhhhh I still watch his episodes of Family Feud on GSN.
  8. WOW ~ And he is just one of thousands if not millions in the same position!!!
  9. DH and I have had the same thing happen - we cannot get our reports online and have to do the form PM mentioned with proof of identity. And, I've tried over and over.
  10. This made me The last time DS sang in Paulding he turned in to sing "The Thunder Rolls" by Garth Brooks and after he sang the KJ told someone "I thought WHO does this kid think he is singing Garth Brooks?? but he did an amazing job."
  11. In addition to the PATRIOTS and RAIDERS I also have GEORGIA, ALABAMA, TENNESSEE and ATLANTA BRAVES in stock.
  12. THANKS for the responses. Our neighbors gave us a frozen turkey because they needed the freezer space. We didn't have room in our freezer either so we put it in the frig to fry later. I didn't know how many days it would stay good before we needed to cook it?
  13. HLN just announced and is trying to confirm John Edwards NOT GUILTY on one count and the jury is DEADLOCKED on remaining 5 counts!!
  14. The Defense wanted the Jury to announce the verdict on Count #3 and the Judge to declare a mistrial for the remaining counts. The Judge wouldn't do it and sent the Jury back to keep trying to reach a verdict on ALL counts. 14 days of testimony and 9 days of deliberations = a very expensive trial.
  15. How long can you keep a turkey in the refrigerator after it is put in the frig frozen?? How long does it take to thaw out and what time frame does it need to be cooked?? TIA.
  16. CONGRATULATIONS~Sounds LOVELY. Please do post photos when you can. Did I read that right that your daughter and her boyfriend/fiancee' did not KISS until after they were pronounced man and wife?????
  17. Although I have been away from it 12+ years my career was in Social Work. The majority of my 18 yrs I investigated child abuse/neglect and was the bad guy who removed children from "immediate and imminent danger" situations. I was the one who would call the foster parents in middle of the night begging them to take in an extra child or sibling group - Many times they were in desperate need for a bath and came only with the clothes on their back. I would go to Court (within 72 hrs) and present the case and the reasoning for the removal. Many times the Judge would send the child/ren back to wha
  18. Grilled bratwurst with grilled onions Home cut french fries Watermelon & Cantelope
  19. Who knows??? They have been plaqued with injuries and illness (flu) lately BUT...that is when you find out what your team is really made of. If the depth doesn't carry the team when the starters are out it makes for a L-O-N-G season! I am not ready to throw in the towel quite yet but 8 game losing streaks are not good for moral inside the locker room or with fans.
  20. Wishing David and Elizabeth a WONDERFUL and FUN Memorial Day with your family!!
  21. Yes, there are several in Alabama but "Top of the Mountain" is the most well known. Another really good place to go is Eclectic, AL the first Saturday of every month, "Santuck." It is a little drive but it is large and you never know what you're gonna find. But it is an EARLY market! Our very favorite is a long drive but is "Jockey Lot" in Anderson, SC. When we go we spent the night but it is a HUGE market and they bring in bus tours. It is uaually well worth going and it is a fun get-away for us. Pendergrass is good, too. As far as local flea markets go we alternate between Bil
  22. That means a year from now you will be doing what we did today: Standing in the halls of the elementary school while the 5th Graders make their final walk through the school. I didn't expect it to be so emotional but our oldest GRANDdaughter is now a Middle Schooler!!!! :::snifflesniffle::: CONGRATS to your son!!!
  23. I did not go and not sure who or if anyone did. I didn't see where it was really confirmed the night before so my thoughts were that of Perry. That morning I had a doctor's appointment EARLY and didn't even get online to see the comments until after 12:00 to call Subby. I knew Tide Girl couldn't go and had made the suggestion we try to plan again in 3 weeks due with the holiday week-end. So, let's try again for the week of June 18th and make it happen!!!!
