YES it is good to have a Georgia Idol winner after having two runner-ups. I think it speaks highly of the talent in our State!! Alabama had Rueben Stoddard, Bo Bice and Taylor Hicks while North Carolina had Clay Aiken and Fantasia. GEORGIA is holding it's own! They sure did. It doesn't get any bigger than Reba and Neil!! GREAT SHOW!

I totally forgot about it. We just haven't been all that in to it this season. DS sent me a text and said "Please tell me you recorded Idol." I had to respond "No" and told him it didn't even cross my mind. OH WELL. There is always Hulu or On Demand I guess. Even though I did not watch tonight I expect Jessica to win for reasons I've explained during previous weeks. But, I like Phillip and I like that he is from Georgia.

I have been watching, too. Is that John Bleakley's daughter??? The consultant, Brandon, is a friend of DS. The next episode had a girl from Marietta. I had never watched any of these until a few days ago and started watching the Brides edition. Now I am hooked!

Monday would work and the $3.99 buffet at Pizza Hut sounds good. Tuesday and Wednesday is a no-go as DH has doctor's appointments still trying to get some relief from the torn rotator cuff and surgery. ETA: OOPS......Monday is Memorial Day. So whenever y'all can get it together that will be fine and I'll try to catch the next one.

We were among those who abandoned House. We attempted to watch it the season after they replaced most of the original students but just couldn't get into it like before. At one time we never missed it!

We grilled Ribeye steaks this week-end along side veggie kabobs made of mushrooms, tomatoes, vidalia onions and squash. YUMMMMMY!! I didn't think about pineapple I will add that next time. Those look AWESOME!!

TRUE One of the best concerts I have ever been to was in the late 70's and it was a BeeGee's Concert. OMGOSH~Beyond AWESOME!! RIP Robin. Enjoy reuniting with Maurice.

Missing was originally only to be a 10 week show. I was hoping it would get picked up later and they did leave the ending where they could bring it back if they wanted to. It has showed up on several cancelled lists but I'm hoping that just means it was the end of the 10 weeks (which it was) and it will come back. GREAT SHOW with WONDERFUL acting and SUPERB writing!! We enjoyed Harry's Law and Alcatraz. The entertainment business is suffering in this economy just like the rest of the businesses in America. DH and I tried something different at The Dugout. We are such creatures of habit - we usually get wings (the BEST in Paulding County, BTW) but if not, DH is a huge fan of the cheeseburgers and I always get a chef salad. BUT.....we decided to be adventerous and DH tried the hotdog with cheese, slaw, onions, mustard and ketchup. I got the Triple "something" where you pick three items and I chose the chicken fingers, jalapeno peppers and onion rings. YUMMMMMMMMMM!!!!! All of it was GREAT!!!! Just wanted to let y'all know.
