We are watching and YES it is amazing what they can do with their bodies and the strength! WOW. Although I had on ABC during the 6:00 news and they told all the results for tonights events. I think the news media should be banned from announcing it until AFTER it is shown in Primetime. Although I know how it is going to turn out it's still exciting to see USA doing so well in ALL the categories. DH wasn't here when I heard it on the news so I'm not telling him. BTW, I LOVE me some Gabby Douglas!!!

We had looked forward to coming tonight for wings - gotta take care of that craving for lemon pepper dry/crispy wings. BUT.....after my dentist appointment yesterday and then DH seeing the nerve doctor in ATL today we were pretty much exhausted. We're not as young as we used to be ya know?? I didn't feel like getting out but we'll be there next Thursday and hopefully have all the kids & GRANDS. (Although I bet we'll be there before next Thurs for Doug to get is Burger fix!! LOL)

Yeah, I am thinking I am going to call and let them know I am going to change to U-verse. Actually I am thinking about looking into it bur I HATE change!! In the past when I have threatened to leave Comcast they always seem to come up with a credit I qualify for, etc to bring my bill down. As it turns out we use our landline for our business so the vendors, etc aren't calling our cell phones. So at this point I will keep the three services. BTW, if I do change to U-verse how difficult is it to switch my internet and wireless router to them?

When I called to drop my landline it was going to cost me MORE to keep internet and cable than if I kept all three services with the bundle. Maybe I've just been lucky but in the 8 years we have had Comcast I have never had an issue with customer service. Actually the customer service has been better than with other providers we've used in the past.

Thank you to those who responded. I don't think it is abscessed. I have another tooth that does get abscessed from time to time and this one is not like that. I remembered that this tooth had a root canal about 1988 and again 2-3 years ago. It is very sensitive to cold and the pain is so intense I almost pass out. It is a front tooth so!?!?!? I am going to get a dental discount plan that we used to have that will go into effect Wednesday. Thank Goodness the first of the next month is close. I won't be able to do anything other than take Tylenol and use Oragel until then. YIKES!! Those i

I "thought" when you had a root canal there would not be any pain in that tooth? I have a tooth that I got a root canal on 2-3 years ago but am now in throbbing PAIN with it - especially when drinking a cold drink. Anyone have experience with this???

What are your tried and trustworthy recipes for homemade ice cream?? Our ice cream maker died several years ago so we haven't made it in a LONG time. But, we bought one and plan to make it this evening. I did a google search but wanted to get some that y'all use. TIA.

I was hoping to see Frankie Valli when he comes to the Fox Nov. 1st. BUT....after seeing your comment and looking at the prices it is a good thing I saw him in 1973 at Jacksonville State University and have enjoyed the JERSEY BOYS at the Fox twice. Both times a friend paid for the tickets and this past June they were $92 each and we had excellent seats. I thought that was outrageous!!!! As for the show you have tickets for I am totally clueless what it is or who is putting it on. Yeah, I live a sheltered life!

DANG - I hate to hear this especially for the employees who lost jobs. And,it sure was convenient. That is two restaurants right there that have closed although Mrs. Winner's still has "Now Open" on the marquee.

DH had had the ribeye and I had seafood. YUMMMMMMM!!!! That is funny - we went the back roads and it took us about 45 mins to get there. We also went early on a Thursday night to avoid the crowds. I've been told it is a really long wait if you go on Sat or Sunday! I AGREE!!!! Both of my children are working as servers and it has really opened their eyes!!

The "boycott" is on Wednesday, August 1st. Anyone who is NOT supporting the stand CFA has made is to go in and order a large cup of water - not pay for drink or food. I doubt there will be much of an impact.

The best one on the market is Mythic Paint. That is according to the paint pro in my house and he has sold EVERY brand of paint at one time or another over the past 30 years. He says it cannot be beat. It is totally VOC free and has no odor. You can actually eat it.

I know the restaurant you are talking about and I do know for a fact the servers are mot paid an hourly wage and are only paid what they make in tips. We went a few weeks ago and met friends from Heflin, AL. We were a party of 7 adults with 4 separate tickets. Our server did VERY WELL in tips and he earned it. With that being said I imagine the servers there do average at least minimum wage (and usually more than) but I would think that is different from somewhere that the meals average $5-$8/person. BTW, the food and service there are EXCELLENT!!!

That is GREAT food! We go there sometime with our friends who live in Acworth. YUMMMM!
