I saw where some were posting on yesterday's thread, but thought I'd start one for tonight. I found a recipe online for pork chops cooked in a sour cream/mushroom soup mixture. Gonna try that. Mashed taters Fried green tomatoes (DH tomatoes aren't turning green, so gonna make good use of them) Not sure what else

I am needing to purchase a video camera. Nothing real expensive or fancy, just a basic camera, but I do need it to take a good image and have good quality sound. I have no idea where to start. Any pointers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! TIA.

I LOVE the rain, love to lay in bed and listen to it. But, with that being said, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!! Plus when it is so overcast I have more problems with my vision. So, I am ready for some Sunshine for awhile. I really feel bad for those whose homes were flooded several days ago - and the rain has continued to fall!

Yes, I am indebted to the person who invented the remote - especially during football season! Watched the Bama/N. Texas game and then the TN/FL game and saw FL did not meet the spread of FOUR touchdowns. Was watching some more games this afternoon, too. Now getting ready to flip between Texas/Texas Tech, WV/Auburn and UGA/Arkansas. (They have taken the players off the field in Auburn and evacuated the stadium due to lightening and it is pouring rain.) Should be a good night for football.

Good job, LR. Another idea for hotdogs like that is to put them on top of baked beans - and then bake in the oven. We call it Cheese Weenies 'n Beans. It is great served with mashed taters, cole slaw & rolls. (Just an idea) I just ordered a Papa John's Pizza with light sauce, pepperoni, hamburger, onions and double cheese. With a side order of cheese bread. Too much football going on to cook. (Sounds like a good excuse, anyway. hehehehehehe) Listen to you. Lucky Dog.

I am with you. When we moved here we kept hearing everyone talk about it so we went one time. When we FINALLY got there we were all very disappointed. But, maybe it was just an off night. I didn't fix anything - DH brought home Kentucky UNfried chicken, mashed taters, cole slaw and brownies. We had not tried the unfried, but it was good.

I was raised an only child. I had half-siblings from my dad's first marriage with the youngest being 8 yrs older than me. He lived back and forth between AL and FL living his last 2 yrs in HS with us in AL. We were never really "close" but continue to have a good relationship. My daughter was intended to be an only child. But, I woke up and changed husbands and she got a wonderful new dad and a baby brother. Her brother was born a month before her 10th birthday. I agree about the one in Douglasville. DANG - DH and I forgot about it opening today. But, sounds like it might be just as well. I don't do too well in large crowds and tend to get walked on. But, I will be going soon and check it out. Like the old saying, "one man's junk is another man's treasure." And, I have found some real treasures over the years at Goodwill!!!
