THANK YOU!! With Florida having a bye week next week he will hopefully get plenty of rest and have a good recovery.

Been doing some Star Gazing!

Praying for your sweet grandson and the entire family. This is a terrible situation to be in but God will hear the prayers and heal this angel. I can understand completely you feeling the need to be there to comfort your son and grandson. But, you are right you are doing exactly what you need to - the fact they don't have to worry about the other child is comforting to them. Please keep us posted as to updates.

I agree! LOL. Has anyone heard an update on his condition???

LR, I am having the exact opposite problem. Everything is the same on my monitor EXCEPT the print. It is TINY. I have tried every suggestion I've been given but cannot get it back to normal size. It gives me a headache b/c I have enough trouble seeing as it is. DS said he could fix it for me but then he left last night for the Sugarland concert before doing so and he is in rehearsals all day today. I "think" I did something similar to what you did - with the pad - but cannot undo what I did.

Great price - yeah, I'd like to know, too. I haven't found a wireless card that is less than $50 a month. We went to the Best Buy in Hiram a couple of months ago and knew what we were interested in and why - a netbook. The salesman didn't want to talk to us about the netbook and was trying to persuade us that what we wanted was a laptop. I don't mind a salesman being informative about what options are available but he was over kill. We didn't buy anything and still haven't. But, when we do, don't think we'll be going back there! CONGRATS LR on your new laptop.

True. Like I have always been told NEVER pray for patience - or God will give you something to be patient about.

Hush Yo Mouth!!!! You too!!! With the popcorn chicken, DH had bought beer battered french fries (not bad) to have and I made cole slaw. Sock It To Me cake for dessert. Was a really good meal!!!

WOW - what a punt! I thought UGA would get better field position than that after receiving a kick from the endzone.

Florida QB Tim Tebow is enroute to the hospital via ambulance after a hitting his head twice on the football field after being tackled. Hope this is just precautionary and this fine young man is okay.

Does anyone know why Bus 6 (Merchants Drive) is closed
mom2dachs replied to aut0's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We live on Bus 6 and early Monday morning the road was closed below us going toward town. Then later they put the barricade above us, near Huddle House. (DS called in a panic b/c he was trying to get home) But, there is no damage between us and HH and the reason for the barricade is b/c once ppl got to where the bottom barricade is, there was not a place for them to turn around. The road at the bottom of the hill below us is washed away and completely destroyed. You can go around the upper barricade to get to where we live but cannot continue to go down the hill. -
YES it is - very sweet. Sorry to hear of your loss, as well. Glad you and your horses are all safe.

Is it normal for a crawl space to "flood" when it rains?
mom2dachs replied to LaurBar's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Curious, was this inspector hired by you or the seller? -
We call that Hobo meal - minus the corn. Haven't had it in quite some time. Thanks for the reminder. DH is in the kitchen (now that Alabama football is over) and is making homemade popcorn chicken and I have no idea what else. He always has to work on Saturday, so it has been nice without any hardcore plans - other than watching football.

It is POURING rain at Bobby Dodd, downtown ATL, with 4 minutes to left in the GT/NC football game. They have been having some light rain, but now the skies have opened up. At least GT is winning!!!!

DH and I actually tried the UNfried KFC this week and it was better than expected.

Oct. 10 is a busy day in Dallas.
mom2dachs replied to nicholascolephotographer's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Thanks to the Dallas Merchants Association, there ARE things to do in Dallas. Thank You Nicholas for all the work you and the other members do to make things happen. I am looking forward to coming downtown - there are always some very nice people/vendors set up at the Fine Arts Show and with the yard sale added to it, I know it will be a great outing. -
Paulding in the Thoughts of Folks Around the Country
mom2dachs replied to Blunt Trauma's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I couldn't agree with you more - YES, they are. And, I have heard from people all over, from Alabama to Ohio to Florida who are asking and are concerned about the well being of us folks in Paulding, too. People throughout the land are praying for those who are hurting here, -
Thanks for the input. Yeah, I have seldom had anyone want an item insured. Fortunately I am able to absorb the fees, which have increased but are not unbearable yet. And, I guess I have been fortunate (knock on wood) as I have never had any problem with my credit card being hacked on paypal or elsewhere online. I've been buying/selling for about 12 years now.

I hate it for those who lost their jobs as a result but I won't miss it.

I know it is too late for today but I like to cook chicken in the crockpot with one can cream of mushroom soup and one can cream of chicken soup. Chop u small onion and half green pepper. Add to soup mixture with equal parts of lemon juice and worstershire sauce. (I usually put 3 Tbsp of each). After cooking, serve over rice. YUMMMM. DD makes the taco soup all the time.

I have been trying the Free Shipping as well. I really cannot tell that it increases my sells any. Of course, when I offer Free Shipping I have to increase my starting bid price. For instance: something that I would start at $4.99 with $3.00 shipping I will typically start the bid at $6.99 - $7.99 if I am offering Free Shipping. My profit margin is minimal and I cannot afford to absorb the shipping cost. Sometimes the starting bid will be a little less than what the auction price + shipping would be. My friends who sell on ebay do the same thing. I don't offer Free Shipping on something that a

I recently got an email from eBay saying sellers could no longer offer insurance on a purchase as an option. I don't still have the email and am not sure if it is mandatory that the buyer provide insurance. Does anyone know if it is? If not, as a buyer is it worth it to you to pay an additional $2.00 to have your package insured? Over the many years I have sold on eBay and offered insurance as an option I "might" have had a half dozen people want it and pay for it. So, I am trying to determine if I have to provide insurance and since I have to add the additional cost in the auction or shipping
