BOIL ADVISORY LIFTED FOR PAULDING COUNTY
mom2dachs replied to cornyGirl's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Thanks for the info. I am going to continue to use the bottled water I have on hand, tho. I did not give any thought about giving the furbabies faucet water these past few days. This AM one of the dogs and the cat had diarrhea. Could be a coincidence but they are getting bottled water now, too. But, this is wonderful news!!! -
There was a thread re: transplantation that evolved into a discussion on here a few weeks ago about the program that allows people to "swap" a kidney to a stranger in exchange for their loved one getting a kidney in return. On MyATL, Channel 9 on Comcast. GREAT PROGRAM!!! WOW - they just said the average wait to get a kidney is 5 years!!! Many of those will DIE while on the list. I was fortunate to wait only one year.

BINGO!!! I didn't know "how" they were going to pull it off but that was my theory several weeks ago - that Ashley will somehow get Sharon's baby since they were due within days of each other. And, now it is all coming together. **SORRY, I did not see this thread had been started when I updated the older thread** http://www.paulding.com/forum/index.php?sh...=223483&hl= (And Yes, I am guilty of not going through to check. Just thought I'd prevent there from being so many Y&R threads - for those who do not watch it)
-
We HAD to see that coming - Colleen is going to die and just as Victor needs a heart and she will be a perfect match and him receive her heart. Tracy brought tears to my eyes today - that would be SO, SO difficult. Do you think Sharon really is in labor?? What about Nikki - think she and Victor will reunite?

That was my thoughts, too, and I took the hamburger meat out of the freezer. But, DH wants to just pick something up on the way home b/c he has two deliveries to make after work and will get home late. Don't wanna mess in the kitchen. I didn't argue. Will use the hamburger meat for something tomorrow night when he is off and at home. Have no idea when he'll bring home tonight.

Prayers said for the family and medical staff treating him.

THANKS, but it ain't. Do you want me to see if they have it in UGA?????

I ordered two different styles of Alabama throws because they were both beautiful and I wanted to see which would look the best with my decor. After much debate (simply because I liked this one more and love the sentimental places shown) we decided the other throw actually looked better where I needed to put it. So, I am selling this one at the wholesale price + shipping, just what I have in it. I know for a fact this exact same throw sells in Tuscaloosa for $89.99!!!! The specifics for the throw are listed below. This would make a wonderful Christmas present for the avid Tide fan - one gift o

I am SO sorry for your families loss. That is just horrible but I appreciate you posting the pictures. You can watch all the news coverage of the devastation but it is different when you actually know someone and can see what they are going through. Puts a face on the tragedy! I have been absolutely heartbroken for those who have lost loved ones and all their personal possessions. And, there WILL be people who will try/succeed at taking advantage of others hardship but that is their problem. Don't worry about those how are ignorant and what they have to say, that is their problem, too.

The Pizza Hut on Bus 6 in Dallas delivered pasta to us this evening so they were open. It was AWESOME and I didn't have to cook.
-
Thanks for the clarification - I didn't have a clue what this thread was about. DUH!?!?!?!? I will have to check mine, I have never noticed them before. But, I still do not understand what they mean or what they are for? ETA: Okay, I looked and I have four. How do you bump other members stars???
-
ME TOO! Typical little boy - SO cute.
-
I fall into this category due to having had a kidney transplant and being on anti-rejection drugs. We have 5 gallons of water on hand and a cooler of bagged ice. Just not worth the chance. But, I told DH tonight the tea taste better made with the bottled spring water. And. I have been using hand sanitizer.

After pulling up the potato soup recipes today, I discovered I didn't have all I needed to make it. But, by them I was really craving some soup. So, DH stopped by Chili's at the Avenue on his way home from work and we both had 1/2 Turkey club with potato soup topped with crumbled bacon and cheese. Just hit the spot - was perfect! And, leftover homemade peach cobbler from last night heated up and topped with cool whip for dessert.

That is what I heard on CNN but they were questioning "WHY NOW" is she coming out with this. And the answer was: no one would buy her biography if she didn't have some juicy "reveals" in it. I LOVED The Mamas & The Papas in their day. It sickens me - incest is incest. Period. Not sure if I'll watch or not - Family Feud sounds more inviting.

I use this one: http://www.soaps.com/youngandrestless/spoilers/ It gives updates into the Fall. I am a bit confused over the postings about Nikki for the rest of the week, tho. ETA: OOPS, as of yesterday we ARE in Fall.
-
I am having a hard time remembering the new time slot, too, LR. I just missed the first 8 mins today, tho. But, I have been missing B&B since they changed the Y&R time. Off to the Y&R Spoilers website - ya'll have my curiosity up now...............
-
Yes, I do look over the first couple of pages or so before posting. And, with that said, let me add "typically". But, I probably have been guilty of posting a duplicate thread sy some point in time.

DH called me at 8:30 after leaving the house at 7:30 - he had not made it to Wal-Mart on 120 yet - and we live on Bus 6!!! It usually takes him an hour to drive the 36 miles to his work in Buckhead. He FINALLY got there at 9:45. So his commute this AM was 2 hrs and 15 mins!

Tequila's in Paulding Plaza closed about 3:30 today.

We liked it too. I told DH when it went off I think it is going to be a good series. Of course, it has some of my favorite actors.

OFFICIAL NOTICE: NO PLAN TO CUT OFF WATER (EVER)
mom2dachs replied to gpatt0n's topic in Paulding County NEWS
THANKS. Maybe this will calm some of the rumors and mass hysteria. I just had someone tell me her sister-in-law told her the County's water will be cut off tonight at midnight. I could tell her with complete confidence and reassurance that was NOT true - Thanks to p.com!! -
No Comcast problems here on Bus 6 either. Watching the new NCIS and on Comcast internet.

SIL is trying to get home from the Fairburn area. Can anyone tell me how he can get home? He is trying to come up 85N to 285. I cannot find any info online. ANY info is greatly appreciated!!!!

WOW - that is moving. Yes, thanks for sharing.
