No that is from 2011 when I was needing to replace a charger. I talked to this guy in the last few months. I am thinking his name "might" be Robin?? But, THANK YOU for trying! Yes I did about a different laptop. I will call you soon. No, it wasn't Subby. I would have remembered him. But, Thanks!

It was a movie with Kevin Bacon and then remade in Paulding County about 2-3 years ago. If you look close at the dance scene in a barn (I think it is, the kids are wearing jeans and flannel shirts) you can see DS dancing over the left shoulder of Juliette Haugh. (?sp) One of those extras that sat around all day without pay. LOL. But, it was a lot of fun for him.

DH and I went on our first cruise a couple of weeks ago. Many of you may remember DS is employed with Royal Caribbean as a singer/entertainer. Our trip was a belated Anniversary gift from our son who paid for the cruise and air flight. Because of my balance and motion sickness issues we went to a 4 night in the Caribbean. We were treated like royalty by the crew which were so nice and it warmed my heart to know all the crew knew and thought so much of our son. We enjoyed so much spending time with him and of course seeing him perform on stage. It had been so long!! Of course as Momma's tend to

NOPE. I used to LOVE to do Black Friday shopping with DD. After dinner on Thanksgiving we would get the paper and map our route to all the bargains. We would leave the house about 4AM and return about 9PM. It was a great mother/daughter time and fun getting the bargains. Since my strokes I haven't been able to go so she and her brother continued the family tradition. Last year she needed us to go to Wal-Mart to help get a 3rd TV they had on sale. I decided to tag along with her Dad to get the same TV for us. It was great bc it was one of those guaranteed items. That is the only reason we went.

Replacing the other hip, insurance, hospitals, and ICU
mom2dachs replied to surepip's topic in RECENT TOPICS
A friend had spine surgery at that facility and she had nothing but praise about her stay there. For the physicians, the floor staff and everyone involved with her care. And it took care of her problem. I pray your stay will be as pleasant, Thad and you will return home with NO pain and feeling so much better. I will be watching for updates to be good. Take Care. (((HUGS))) -
I don't have a clue what or who you are talking about. Kate???

DH was given one when he had two back surgeries about 14 years ago and more recently when he tore his rotator cuff. After shoulder surgery (March 2012) to repair the rotator cuff it did okay but he had nerve damage as a result. He continues to be in a sling 24/7 and in daily pain almost 3 years later!!!! Both injuries/surgeries he was given a TENS machine. He got more positive results with his back than the shoulders. For a short period of time he was in PT with his shoulder. The Therapist would use one after treatment and it helped. The one he had at home and used here didn't do much at all.

HELP!?!?!?!? I talked to a p.com member on here about repairing some computers for me while back. He was super nice and reasonable and I told him I'd get back in touch with him. Between my multiple hospital stays and life just being chaotic I wasn't able to get it done until now. But, the problem is I cannot find our messages nor can I find him (or anyone else) in the Business Member Directory. I am hoping he sees this or someone can tell me how to find him. TIA.

Surepip you are in the same place I am: I can't do stairs. So many of the homes in the area not only have steps going into the home but then more steps getting to the living area. Hope you are able to find the house perfect for your family.

I'm getting really sick of NASCAR
mom2dachs replied to dumbestgirlintheworld's topic in RECENT TOPICS
THANK YOU for pointing that out. Maybe the OP is not aware the original drivers of NASCAR were so good because their experience was outrunning the law transporting illegal alcohol during the Prohibition? Those were the true definition of "Good Ole Boys" who didn't mind knocking the hell out of any car that got in their way. Or maybe not aware of the Allison Brothers on the back stretch taking off their helmets off and letting Cale Yarborough know their opinion of his driving with their fists during the 1979 Daytona 500? Or remembers the days of "Jaws" Waltrip and THE Intimdiator taking "care o -
I agree 110%!! We should not allow ANYONE to come into this country from the infected countries. The man in Dallas, TX had his temperature taken to board the airplane as did all passengers. His temperature was normal when he boarded the plane but became symptomatic soon after arriving in the US. The chance of more infected people coming into our country is just too high. Think about it: If half of our 48 mainland states had someone fly into those 24 states who was infected and possibly infect 100 people (which is what the reports say the man in Dallas could have exposed) just how long do y

We pick up the DGD's from school on Tuesday's. One of the regular stops every Tuesday was Bumble Bee. The same friendly lady waited on us every week and knew to expect us. The baked goods were so good and fresh. Then one day several months ago we went in and the lady wasn't there. Two "ladies" were in the back but we could see them through the glass. One looked over her shoulder straight at us but both kept working what they were working on. Finally one of them came out to ask what we wanted. The cases were pretty much empty but the DGD that was with us got a red velvet cupcake that was HORRIB

Youth Sports Begging for money again – are you kidding
mom2dachs replied to MikeJ's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My concern is with the safety of the children. We traveled the road that goes behind IHOP but in front of Home Depot from one end to the other. EVERY intersection had numerous children standing on the street corners. There were some children standing in the MIDDLE of the road between the two lanes. Just seems like maybe there is a safer way to raise funds?? My children NEVER was asked to stand on street corners and collect money and they were both involved. DGD just went to PCB in July for one of the many "World Series" tournaments. Not once did her team stand on the streets asking for mone -
THANK YOU ALL SOOOOOO MUCH!!! I know I can always depend on my p.com family for support and prayers!! So far so good on Day 1 at home. LOL

I have just responded to your message. I apologize for the delay but I have been in Paulding Hospital since Monday. Wade is unavailable to do local shows because for over the past year he has been employed with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. THANK YOU CreativeOne for your concern. Actually it has been a rough 6 weeks for me medically and I've been in and out of the hospital. Hopefully I am home to stay this time and will make my presence more known around here! For future references if anyone needs me my cell phone number is in my signature.

Several months ago there was a thread about Krispy Kreme coming to HIram. There was even a planagram posted that had been filed with the county and showed it going in the three until strip center in front of Hobby Lobby. It obviously isn't coming to that location. Anyone know any facts of IF or WHERE Krispy Kreme is coming. We stopped by the one in Marietta last night about 10:30 with the HOT sign on and the cars were wrapped around the building. A gold mine if it came to Paulding. Just curious. TIA.

South Paulding Spartans Football discount cards

Are the businesses on the thumbnail the only businesses participating? What are the discounts with each business? We usually have 2 or 3 cards from different schools bc they have different discounts and places to use them. TIA -

This Dog's Final Day Proves We Should Live Every Day Like It's Our Last
mom2dachs replied to TJB's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I refused to open this thread when it was initially posted. I knew my heart could not withstand what the title told me was inside. But, today while flipping channels I came across CNN talking about it and watched the video. As expected I sat here and cried like a baby. I cried for Duke for facing the end of his life. I cried for his family who made the difficult but sweet decision to make his last day as wonderful as it could be. And, I cried for my Snickers that at 15 years old we helped cross the Rainbow Bridge on April 3rd. As much as I love Saban and Krimson the void and pain is just as ra -
The folks are in front of Paulding Plaza every Saturday and Sunday. Or at least they were up through this past week-end.

Mrs. Jack Russell is selling blueberries. Her GRANDchildren picked them and are selling them to buy extras for back to school. They are $5.00. I'm not for how many but she has set up a FB page for the GRANDS to sell them and ppl to order. Mrs. JR isn't on for me to get the link right now. I'll try again later.
