Are you "interested" in the children that die needlessly every year and their families? •Underage drinking is a factor in nearly half of all teen automobile crashes, the leading cause of death among teenagers. •Alcohol use contributes to youth suicides, homicides and fatal injuries – the leading cause of death among youth after auto crashes.
-
So are any of you interested in that?
-
Yes, there are laws against underage drinking. How well are they working?

Thanks.

I've been looking for one in south Paulding County, but I haven't found one yet. Here's a search engine you might use. Put in your address and it will bring up the churches in the radius you select: http://www.celinea.com/search-perifery.php?category=807205&range=5&address=+30141&button=Radius+Search

Does anyone care? What would happen if those of you so determined to be able to buy alcohol for yourself 24/7 put that energy to work to combat alcohol abuse among this country's children? Will someone answer that? According to the American Medical Association: Facts About Youth and Alcohol Wasted youth Approximately 11 million American youth under the age of 21 drink alcohol. Nearly half of them drink to excess, consuming five or more drinks in a row, one or more times in a two week period. Alcohol is the most frequently used drug by high school seniors, and its us

Some kids have been successful ordering alcohol online: Ordering liquor online sets off legal challenges By Donna Leinwand, USA TODAY Zack Vines came home from high school one day last October, logged on to his computer and, with a few clicks of a mouse, ordered liquor from several different online sites. He isn't sure which site ultimately came through, but a week later, a gallon of tequila wrapped in a plain, brown package with no return address was delivered to the Vines home in Franklin, Mich. Unlike many teens who try to buy alcohol, Zack, 15 at the time, didn't n

It's interesting that many foreign countries have also had periods of Prohibition, but it didn't keep some people from buying alcohol. From Wikipedia: The first half of the 20th century saw periods of prohibition of alcoholic beverages in several countries: 1907 to 1948 in Prince Edward Island, but for much shorter periods in other provinces in Canada 1914 to 1925 in Russia and the Soviet Union 1915 to 1922 in Iceland (though beer was still prohibited until 1989)[2] 1916 to 1927 in Norway (fortified wine and beer also prohibited from 1917 to 1923) 1919 in Hungary (in the Hungar

That's true. When a local restaurant announced that they would be closing on Sundays the comments were mixed, but it was their choice. While research shows people are healthier when they lead more balanced lives with adequate time reserved for rest and other activities some choose to work 24/7. There may be consequences, but it's their choice. Stores may feel pressure from customers to be open 24/7 but they have a choice and a responsibility to choose wisely in the interest of not just their customers but also their employees and their families.

Wayside Gardens doesn't sell cut flowers, just rose bushes and other plants. This is from them and explains how bouquets were once used as a way to communicate in days that are a lot different than our modern times: Roses have long been more than just a beautiful flower. During the strict Victorian era, messages were exchanged between lovers in the form of innocent-looking bouquets. The different colors came to represent various emotions and intentions, as did the number of flowers given. From love or friendship to peace or remembrance, roses still have deep meaning today, and a dozen r -
