You can get most of the items you need at the Dollar Tree which makes it even better on the wallet.

Obviously a "sweet 16" party is not possible for a boy who is turning 16, so what do most parents normally do for their son when he turns 16? Any ideas on things you have done in the past? Or do you wait and have a big party to celebrate turning 18?

Just got my Xenon a couple of days ago and so far I like it. I have noticed that is seems a little more difficult to navigate than my previous phone and a lot more sensitive. I continually keep accessing the internet just by wiping off the screen. Worried that my next months bill will have extra charges because of it.

I typically make lots of Christmas candies but tried a new one this year. I did the regular white chocolate covered pretzels but added crushed candy canes to the chocolate. YUMMY!!

How does something like this happen? We would go there on Sundays after church and had to wait everytime in order to get a table. How does an establishment that seems to do such a great business go out of business?!?

I have clear lights on tree in the living room because colored lights would not go good with the color scheme I have on it. It has browns, blues and greens. My daughter has pink, purple and teal on her tree with clear lights. The other tree has multi-colored lights with all of the ornaments the kids have made throughout the years. BTW, LOVE the light idea with Santa. Wish I would have known about that when mine were younger and done it with them.

I bought the omelet maker that you use in the microwave for my son to use. He really liked them. You can also use egg beaters in them and have even lower calories. We put things like diced ham, mushrooms, broccoli and cheese in them. You can get very creative depending on what you like. Adding salsa is also another option and adds nothing as far as calories/fat, etc. but adds lots of flavor.

You weren't supposed to throw candy from the floats according to the rules. We walked along side the float and passed it out.

I am truly inspired by many people who have touched my lives but I wanted to share a story from someone that inspired me this weekend at the Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk. Her name was Christy and this is what she said..... "Cancer almost took my life 3 different times. When I was 15 I was diagnosed with abdominal wall cancer, but because of my cancer I can no longer do sit-ups. Don't you wish you had a doctor's note stating you weren't allowed to do sit-ups!?! Because of my cancer I was told that I would not live past my 18th birthday, but I will celebrate my 30th birthday this January!
