Reviews by Taylor: Celebrity Apprentice Snapple Drinks
ga_dawg_fan replied to Taylor's P.A.L.S.'s topic in RECENT TOPICS
I think that Holly using passion fruit was a concern on the show. They said that a lot of people are not accustomed to eating it and therefore might not like the taste. Guess they were right. I havent ever eaten it so dont really know what to expect, but the reviews will definitely help! THX! -
I am team Brett too!! I think he won the last challenge with Snapple. Holly had the best looking bottle as far as the colors according to the Snapple execs but it seemed as if they liked everything else with Brett's campaign.

Hopefully all of the ASP workers will take positions with them. I have heard they are supposed to offer the positions to us (the current ASP workers) before bringing in outside employees. Thanks for the vote of confidence momof3...you have a sweet boy! -

I bought my hubby a blu-ray disc player for Christmas and since we have hooked it up the surround sound hasnt worked. We have checked all of the connections and connected it according to the book but it still doesnt work. Does anyone do this on the side or as their regular job who can help us out?

My son has inquired about a few Dodge trucks on Craigslist. Its funny that they all have the same scenario...."I'm a Sgt. in the US Air Force stationed in Alaska. The truck is here with me and the cost of the truck includes shipping it to your address." Things that make you go Hmmmm!

July 15 will be a great way to advertise your business and to mingle with all of those who are present at the Field of Hope Breast Cancer Golf Tournament. Local businesses will have the opportunity to setup a tent/table at a hole of their choice for a donation of $100. This also gives you a chance to talk with all of the players while they are at your hole and after the event is complete. Space is limited so don't miss out!!

This was definitely a 5-alarm kleenex episode including hubby and the kids. I was inspired by this family. It definitely brings things into perspective for those of us who think we have some mountains to cross. -
Do you offer catering i.e. a boxed lunch?

Sad to hear that another life was lost to breast cancer.

Another way for the county to save would be to contract out all janitorial and maintenance work. This would save a tremendous amount of money is salaries, benefits, etc.

It is coming down in New Hope....hail only with no rain. CRAZY!! I dont think I have ever seen it hail without raining, but the hail started before the rain did. Still having big rumbles of thunder even though the rain/hail have stopped.

I saw a sign of a house for rent off of Bobo Rd in Country Acres subdivision. Its the first house on the right when you turn in. Dont know how much it rents for though, unfortunately.

Hubby had my surprise 40th birthday party at White Oak Park and it was great. Lots of room for that number of people plus you also have the covered picnic area that is connected to the building. I saw a theme for an over the hill party the other day that would be great considering he is a firefighter...."40 and still hot!" They suggested serving mexican food, but I think the hamburger/hot dog idea would work too.

Cough - Cough - Cough - I'm sick of coughing and being sick
ga_dawg_fan replied to ga_dawg_fan's topic in RECENT TOPICS
After another sleepless and cough-filled night, I went to the doctor today. She said I have bronchitis and started me on an antibiotic, steroid pack and cough medicine. She said if I wasn't better by next week to come back. Hope everyone else if feeling better today! -

I dont have a fever but my daughter does. She doesn't have much of a runny nose just a little stuffy. I called her doctor today and they said bring her in on Friday if she is not any better. We always sleep with the house at a lower temp at night and dont use ceiling fans. My husband has a fan in the room for noise but it is not blowing on the bed. I can usually take Nyquil and sleep through the night but only slept from 10-12:30 last night. I moved to the couch to keep from waking my husband and finally fell asleep sitting up around 4 and then was awake again at 6. -

Did they admit your son to the hospital? What symptoms did he have? That is what scares me with not being able to take a deep breath without coughing and having a "heavy" feeling in my chest. I have had at least 3 coughing spells today that lasted for about 5 minutes. It was difficult to catch my breath from coughing so hard. I hope your son feels better soon!! Are you running a fever? -
I had a sore throat, ear ache and cold symptoms the week of winter break. Everything went away and had a good week last week. Sunday the symptoms started back and seemed to be all in my chest with just coughing and feeling heavy in the middle of my chest and not able to take a deep breath without coughing. Now it seems to have progressed to almost constant coughing and a runny/stuffy nose. I can't sleep at night even after taking Nyquil because of coughing. Obviously, the OTC meds I have tried (Nyquil, Dayquil and Mucinex-D) are not working. Any suggestions on different OTC meds or home

please keep my cousin and his family in your prayers
ga_dawg_fan replied to Lady Raider's topic in May they rest in Peace
Sad news to hear. Now in the arms of Jesus. Prayers being said. -
We just started something new at our house that has worked very well. The first thing we did was stop giving them money and went to allowance. They have a list of things that are required to do each week. If they do not do it then I can "pay" a sibling or myself to do the chore. When it comes allowance time they may not get any money or very little money because of their choices while the sibling gets extra money. This money is their spending money to buy extra things or go places on. If you ask them to do something you ask them one time and one time only. If they do not do it then you

Continuing to pray for peace and comfort now and in the days to come. Just hold on to the fact that you will be together again.
