Abney Elementary is doing this also as one of the projects for the Venture Program. They are doing a unit on recycling so this is an excellent way to incorporate what they are learning and see results.

I had much rather be "inconvenienced" by my kids being out of school than to know that they are in danger by being placed in unsafe conditions. They are going stir crazy and fighting like cats and dogs but at least we are blessed to still be alive, not have any major damage and dry.

The only thing that has ever worked for me was sugar. Put 2 tsp. of sugar in your mouth and CHEW it until it is dissolved then swallow.

New Season Church has several projects involved with the Community Makeover. I will be participating in the repairs/renovation of a disabled lady's house in Hiram. They are also doing a makeover on Alexander Street in Hiram as well as a project at Panter Elementary. My son and the teens from the church are going to be visiting the waiting rooms at hospitals delivering snacks, gum, water, etc to the families. I know everyone involved will receive a tremendous blessing from this.

We just opened our own business. This sounds like it might be good for us to attend. Is it still on?
