Bentwater Golf Club in Acworth will be the site for the annual Field of Hope Breast Cancer Golf Tournament. The event will take place on Tuesday, August 17th with check-in and practice range opening at 9 a.m. and shotgun start at 10 a.m. Cost of the event is $100/individual or $350/foursome. Fees include 18-holes of golf, cart, practice range and balls, lunch and a goody bag. Mulligan package available for $25 in advance or $30 on the day of the event and includes $20 gift card to PGA Tour Superstore, 1-45 minute session at PGA Tour Superstore Practice Bay, 2 Mulligans and 1 Red-Tee Ticket

Mine has not worked properly for about 6 weeks now. They told me a cell tower went down on May 22 and is still not repaired. Another tower went down on July 11. Very difficult to conduct business when your phone doesnt work properly. However, AT&T doesnt seem to have a problem in billing me for a full month's service.

After all of the trouble with my LG Xenon, I am now due for an upgrade but am torn between the iPhone and Blackberry. I want to be able to be able to access my email, send and receive text messages, make and receive phone calls as well as listen to music. DH bought me an iPod touch but if I can just carry one device to the gym that would be awesome. It sounds funny to put one of the qualifications as send/receive texts and make/receive phone calls, but for the past 6-8 weeks the only way I can do that is to constantly power off and on all day. Wasn't worth it to me for 7%. I guess if you was going to buy larger items it might affect your shopping this year, but not a big deal for crayons, pencils and paper. But I'm having a yard sale that weekend so just come school shopping here

We found a Bible on our way to church Sunday morning. It was lying in the middle of Old Cartersville Road in front of Eagle Pointe Subdivision. The name written inside was Joshua Purlee and was given to him in October 2009. We picked it up to keep it from being run over and destroyed. If anyone knows the owner please have them message me so that I can get it back to them.

For the past two weeks I have been having trouble with my cell phone. It will not send and/or receive text messages or phone calls. I receive a message that says unable to send message or service unavailable even though I have 3 bars. After at least a dozen phone calls and hours spent on the phone troubleshooting with technical support, 3 cell phones and 2 sim cards later, I am told they have a tower that is heavily damaged and has been since May 22 which is why I am having all of the trouble. This is a huge pet peave for my hubby as well especially for the folks in a subdivision. Must have been hereditary cause he said his dad couldnt stand it either.

I go to Bodyplex and live in the New Hope area. I like it because they have classes as well as equipment. The staff/instructors are very dedicated and extremely helpful. They also have free childcare if that is something that you might need. You can also try them out for 5 visits and see if it is the place for you.
