  4. Went to one of our grandson's Birthday party. We had hot dogs on the grill, homemade potato salad, homemade coleslaw, ice cream cake, cookie cake and cupcakes. Whew! I am so full and it was wonderful.

  7. I remember Snow Jam 1982 very well. I was working 20 miles from the house. It normally took about 30 mintues to get home. (Back in the day there was not much traffic). It took 3 hours, It was horrible...I got thirsty, I got hungry and I thought I would never get home. I was so glad to pull in the driveway safe & sound. I think 1983 was the snow surprise if I remember right. We were in Florida and started seeing the snow in Macon and drove all the way from Macon back home in the snow.   10. My dad loved duck and he would eat it when we went to the chinese restaurant. Then one Christmas mom and I decided to cook a duck for daddy... He loved it... It was okay for us but the main thing is that my daddy enjoyed it so much. As far as chicken livers, I love them and I grew up on my mom's which were the best. Green Tomato Buffet in Powder Springs has some really good ones and come pretty close to my moms. Beef liver, I have only had my moms and hers is great, smotherd in onions. Yum Tonight we had Taco Bell and it was pretty good

  16. I am so sorry that I am late in posting but here is the recipe that I use. Vegetable beef soup 1 lb ground beef 1/4 cup all purpose flour 1 1/2 quarts water 1 tsp pepper 1 tsp garlic powder 4 stalks celery, sliced 1 1/2 tsp salt 2 med onions chopped 1 (16 oz) pkg frozen mixed vegetables 1 (29 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce Brown meat stirring to break apart in large dutch oven. Drain well. Stir in flour cooking for two minutes. Add water, salt, pepper, garlic powder,celery,vegetables, onion, tomatoes, and tomato sauce and bring to a boil
  17. This breaks my heart. She is such a great lady. I loved her character Rhoda an MTM and could not wait to see that show each week. I also enjoyed seeing her in several TV movies. Our prayers go out to Ms. Harper and her family
