  6. Susan Hayward lived in Carrolton not far from my Aunt and Uncle. I remember going by the farm where she and her husband lived many years ago. 1960's. Beautiful place. I was really excited to be going by there because she was a famous star. We were in that area not long ago and it really brought back great memories
  7. Judi Dench is another one of my favorite, I Love As time goes by. We watch it every Saturday Night. We are addicted to that show, if we are not at home we even tape it
  8. Julie Andrews, Susan Hayward, Vivian Lee, Lucille Ball, Doris Day... Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson, Reese Witherspoon, Emma Thompson, All of the Golden Girls, especially Betty White & Bea Arthur. Love Doris Roberts and my all time favorite Meg Ryan (especially with Tom Hanks and Billy Crystal Alison Sweeney ( I am a BIG Days of our Lives Fan) and of course Katherine Hepburn & Bette Davis
  9. I do remember the Dairy Queen in Dallas and I can remember when about the only places to eat were Vaughns(Now Briar Patch) and Tastee Freeze. We would cruise between the two restaurants on a Saturday night. There was also a little chili dog place by the Hickory Hut but I can't remember the name of it. They had great chili dogs. Seems like they were in a trailer. It is only a vague memory has been so long ago. I think my dad loved the chili dogs they were the closest to tasting like the Varsity without driving to Atlanta.
  10. I have not been there in a while but the food, service and atmosphere was always wonderful. We were there for the grand opening back in the early 1980's and went pretty often until I moved back here. We did not live too far from there at the time. The Prime Rib was my favorite. It was awesome. Would love to go back there again. Glad to hear that the food is still really good.

  13. John Wayne has been my all time favorite, I think I have seen about all of his movies over the years. I am also a BIG Roy Rogers fan and loved Trigger. I would be glued to the tv when the Roy Rogers show would come on on Saturday mornings Happy Trails y'all
  14. I was a Brownie and Girl Scout right here in Dallas in the early 1960's and will be glad to help you out. I was even a troup Leader Assistant later on. Loved every minute of it. Great memories
  15. I love Dr. Bobby Shirley at Distintive Dentistry on Merchants Drive in Dallas. He is wonderful and and so are all the people that work there. He is very patient and kind and I am a BIG baby when it comes to the dentist too...
  16. Love those songs plus anything by Adam Levine and Maroon 5.... Loco-Motion and Staying Alive brings back memories when I used to skate back in the day.
