Sounds like a runaway. Law enforcement should have been called IMO.

Free H1N1 nasal mist for healthy residents (2 to 49-year-olds)
SoapMom replied to michelay1000's topic in RECENT TOPICS
This is what the CDC says about "who should get the vaccine" (seasonal flu): Who Should Get Vaccinated In general, anyone who wants to reduce their chances of getting seasonal flu can get a seasonal influenza vaccine. However, it is recommended by ACIP that certain people should get vaccinated each year. They are either people who are at high risk of having serious seasonal flu-related complications or people who live with or care for those at high risk for serious seasonal flu-related complications. During flu seasons when vaccine supplies are limited or delayed, ACIP makes recommen -
Dangit, clicked the wrong topic and posted. Sorry!

Yep, it sure is!

I'm wanting to understand you correctly. Are you saying that the 6 year old who received the vaccine mist was the child out of the four children who ended up having the worst case of H1N1? Or, have I misunderstood? Per the CDC/FDA - as for protection, recommended shot series [i've yet to find where the CDC/FDA say how many of the nasal rounds they recommend.) =============== http://www.flu.gov/individualfamily/vaccin...x.html#seasonal The Seasonal Flu Vaccine and the H1N1 Flu Vaccine The seasonal flu vaccine and the H1N1 flu vaccine are separate vaccinations. Absolutely, yes. Per FDA/CDC, recognized / average side effects of the H1N1 Flu Mist are (I'm posting their response only, and not including my personal opinion, nor opposing FDA/CDC opinion here): The nasal spray: The viruses in the nasal-spray vaccine are weakened and do not cause severe symptoms often associated with influenza illness. (In clinical studies, transmission of vaccine viruses to close contacts has occurred only rarely.) ***NOTICE that this means there is a *chance* of the person being able to *spread* the H1N1 virus to others when receiving the nasal mist vaccine!!!*

A bit of information for those interested in having true informed consent before vaccinations: ~ The mist vaccination contains a live, attenuated virus. ~ People receiving the vaccination must not be allergic to eggs or have other severe allergies. ~ Children with asthma or certain muscle or nerve disorders should not get the H1N1 mist. SEE Manufacturer's warning: http://www.fda.gov/downloads/BiologicsBloo...s/UCM123743.pdf -----------------------WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS------------------------ • Do not administer FluMist to children <24 months of age -
TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN! Thanks for all you do! HAPPY BIRTHDAY PUBSTER!!!!

Cool! Hope you enjoy the soap!

No, that's not the case "everywhere." In fact, Florida is only lead by California and Texas in the number of registered sex offenders! {Trying to find actual statistics for the closest year to 2009. The last #'s I found said CA and TX were in the lead, then FL. Still researching.} I would recommend you research the area you're intending on moving to in depth before doing so. Just within a very *short* distance of where Somer Thompson lived were 86 registered sex offenders.... and that was only in her immediate area of Orange Park - right outside of Jacksonville Florida.
-
Florida is rabidly full of sexual predators. Seriously -- they are just piled up there. Unfortunately, it appears that Somer Thompson's body has been found in a S. GA. landfill. http://www.news4jax.com/news/21363638/detail.html

I hope he's found soon!

Thanks SIS. We just got back from his funeral. Man, was that rough.

Good Morning Pcom! Up, sipping java. Will take my son to school, and check him back out after 10am to go to his classmates funeral. I remember when my friend Crissy died. I was in 8th grade. It too was another preventable death. In the hubris of youth, the young never think "It could happen to me." No, you're 10 foot tall and bullet proof until the realization hits you (if you're one of the lucky ones) that you too are mortal, just like the rest of us. So, we will go, and my husband and I will continue to... talk with him (and his friends) about this, the rules of hunting, and gun

Oh, OnStar rocks!!! I so wish we had/afforded a vehicle with it. I think it's a great option.
-
I'll be interested to see how his album turns out. He has one heck of a voice.

She's from the Jacksonville FL area, which is a little over an hour from where we live. Really sad! And this is only about 65 miles from where Haleigh Cummings went missing.

I prefer the evil priest myself. -
~ Robert Plant -- I've seen him I think about six times now, met him one time. In 2008, saw him with Allison Krauss at Chastain Park -- simply AWESOME! ~ The Dead Weather - Why? Because I'm obsessed with Jack White, that's why. What a grungy, sexy, bluesy, hard rocking concert at the Tabernacle earlier this month that was. Knocked my socks off and made me love him more. ~ Pink Floyd - At GA Tech stadium... that was great. ~ KISS - Seem them a few times, always a great show. Met Gene & Paul at a special KISS Army fan gig in ATL. ~ Loreena Mckennitt -- fabulous live.

 That's exactly what I thought. Trick or Treating here is on Oct 31, the day of Halloween. We'll have our haunted yard open on the 30 and the 31st.... candy on the 31st though.

Now that it's COLD, What's Your Favorite COLD Weather Beverage?!?!
SoapMom replied to MillCreek's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I drink hot chai tea in the cold winter months... and other hot teas. I love a good cup of java year round, but it's even better when there's a chill in the air. I'm also a huge fan of Mexican Hot Chocolate.... oh, sinfully delish! -
Thanks!

We have a few more things to put together for our front yard haunt... figuring out the pallet fencing is one; one more of our ghouls has to be put together; the larger grave area set up; lighting put out there (think we're just going with colored floods); and I'm sure a few strands of lights here and there too. We'll see how it all comes together. The Witch will be placed in a scene with a large real cast iron pot in front of her, on a wooden box that we've wired with lights (which will have real wood logs stacked in front of it) to simulate fire. There'll be a green & red flood lig

That looks faked to me... or either that guys on something far harder than alcohol. I did chuckle a few times though.
