  1. My thread: http://dallas2.paulding.com/forum/index.php?/topic/228116-wow-cool-new-board/page__view__findpost__p__2975024
  2. Thanks everyone! We just got it all down, boxed up, and hauled off.
  3. Wish all our Pcom friends could have been bussed down here for the Spooktacular! It truly was a wonderful evening. The local response simply tremendous. Glad you guys have enjoyed the vids/pics.

  5. I feel like this new board is my "treat" for Halloween! I'm amazed by it! Soooooo coool!!!!
  6. First off, COOL NEW BOARD Pubster!!! This is going to be neat to explore. Love the new look! Our "Hazzard Heights Yard Haunt" here in S. GA. was a HUGE HUGE HUGE success! We had approx 500 people come through the haunt -- this is amazing! In the seven years my parents have lived in this neighborhood, we've never had but maybe 1/3 of that many, ever. The word got out about our haunt, and the excitement built, and BOOM!!! Here came the families pouring in. We wrapped it up right at 10pm last night, pooped, but every single one of us happy with the events! If you'd like to check o
  7. Gotta finish a few more signs for the haunt, including the rules. Check on the weather to see if some of the characters/lights can be put back out yet. Cool story. My Mother's hair dresser said this morning, "You live over on so-in-so road, right?" My Mom, "Yes, we do." Well, it seems his Granddaughter yesterday after school, while shopping for Halloween costume supplies says, "Poppie! Poppie! There's a house over on so-in-so road that has a huge decorated yard for halloween! It's going to be big! Will you take me there on Halloween?" He then informed her that he knows the people
  8. YEAH!!! Thoughts, you know if we were up there, I'd break out The Oracle for your haunt! Have fun! [And I had NO clue you guys had moved!!!!]
  9. I'd want them CPR certified, with knowledge of basic first aid. And I would carry a firearm with me. So, yeah, I think I would go for it.
  10. I was a "warrior" for Halloween this evening. LOLOL Someone on a local message board asked the famous question of "When are we suppose to trick or treat?" After explaining to her that we need no local government, sheriff or police department, school district, or civic club, not to mention chamber of commerce, to tell us free citizens WHEN we are to take OUR OWN children out trick or treating BECAUSE there has already been a date set down to do so -- it's called Halloween, Oct 31st -- same date every year -- she called me a term for a female dog, and explained how I had hurt her feeli
  11. YOU BET'CHA! You come to my house, in a costume of some kind, and say "Trick or Treat!" on OCTOBER the 31st, and you'll get candy. Toddler, kid, teenager, adult -- I don't care. It's Halloween for Pete's sake! I like seeing people having fun, no matter their age.
  12. I've wondered that myself!!!
  13. Can't vote. My son is 13, and he's still trick or treating. I say when you wish to stop, then stop. I don't think there should be some clear cut rule about it. If you show up at my house IN a costume, and say the "magic words" (trick or treat!) - you're going to get candy... and I don't care if your 90 years old.
  14. It's her schtick Mark. This is what she does. She's actually very good at her pcom-aret act, gotta give her that. It's hysterical to see someone justify things out of their mouth by how many "gays"/lesbians they count in their friend-pocket, etc., etc. But then again, if taken in context of the overall act, it is pretty effective in stirring the crap.
  15. :clapping: :clapping: Gosh, I love you Mark. Hey, what about KISS? or some of the big-haired-glam bands of the 80s? I say, go for it Adam Lambert... you've got the pipes to back up the glam.
  16. Gooooooood Morning Pcom! Hope you all have a great day. We're expecting rain here in S. GA. at some point in time. Had to pull some of the Halloween props up to the porch, or covered in plastic. Going to be fun.
  17. Your oldest is the spitting image of you!!! Wow!
  18. I'm starting Neti pot once a day, especially for myself and my son. No reason not to add the gargle in there too. And a great reason to pick up more tea bags at the store for hot tea!
  19. Woahhhh.. Wonder one if yet conversed with?
  20. We hope to catch it this afternoon.
  21. Good Morning!! I worked at the Pumpkin Patch at our Okefenokee Heritage Center (museum) here yetserday, as part of our Photography Guild (which is sponsored by the OHC). We had soooooo much fun taking kids pictures. We set up two harvest scenes for the people to choose from, $5 for their first 4x6, and $2 for each additional print. All proceeds to go straight to the museum - all our efforts and supplies we donated. Our Guild raised $240 dollars for the OHC. Yeah! It's a great place which we all want to see continue into the future, so we were really proud of ourselves for how it came toge
  22. I went to see "Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant" last night with my BF since 7th grade. It was good fun! Now, I want to read that series of books. I also want to see Where the Wild Things Are. AND we as a family want to see Paranormal Activity.
  23. Watching it now as I fold clothes. I say GOOD FOR Wanda Sykes. I think it's great when people can simply be whomever they truly are.
