  1. I agree. Knowing the thoughts behind why he wrote it, I don't think it's all that bad really.
  2. Their blog is GREAT!!! He must have the most colorful dreams ever.
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psuRGfAaju4 ================= http://www.columbusalive.com/live/content/features/stories/2010/01/21/ca_m_owl-city.html?type=rss&cat=&sid=108 Adam Young reveals the story behind Owl City's breakout hit "I spent a night on a stationary fishing dock in the middle of a rustic lake in leafy northern Minnesota last summer. The kind you have to paddle a canoe to get to. I'd planned the night forever because a meteor shower was to take place that evening. "I brought my sleeping bag, sprawled out on my back and stared skyward for hours as dusk
  4. So very sad. My thoughts of healing go out to all of the family.
  5. Innocent until proven guilty. That is how our system is suppose to work. My hope is that justice and truth will prevail. In spite of that, a lot of lives will be in turmoil over a case like this. And even more folks affected somehow by it. And, as already said, the family member of the alleged victim --- you're doing a disservice by being on this board and saying anything at all.
  6. Yep! That's grackles!!! They have a peculiar squawking that they do, en masse!
  7. I'm betting they aren't "black birds" - I'm betting they are Grackles, specifically. They are black, smaller than a crow, and have iridescent colored feathers. They are known in being in HUGE groups, like this:
  8. Oh, wow! I so wish I could make it up there for this!!!!! Dangit!!!! Please send them my best, ok?? I don't have a way of getting in touch with them myself or I would.
  9. Are you sure they were crows and not grackles? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Quiscalus-quiscula-001.jpg When we lived in Hiram, there would be very large bunches of grackles seasonally coming through. Normally at the very 'edge' of fall time, and then again at the beginning 'edge' of spring time.
  10. That is beyond sick. The level of cruelty inflicted upon that child is mind boggling. WOW!
  11. I see no reason to be "put under" for a LEEP. I had numbing meds for the area in question, and that was it.
  12. Yes, I had it done. I had very little needed down time, and only a day of pain med. Advil did the trick otherwise.
  13. Anita is a special lady! That's a really pretty bracelet LR!
  14. Stopping in to see how Shannon is!

I take generic synthroid and have had no issues with doing so.
  16. FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yahoo: That's great for those families. There is a missing girl down this way now, similar situation. Her family is in the same boat they were. I hope they have the same conclusion.
  17. Glad to read an update Tara. Still thinking of her, and you all, bunches and bunches!!!

I've taken it for years. I have absolutely no side effects from taking it. It took a bit at first to get the right level, but once we did there's be no problem. We recently changed my does (for the first time in years!) - and I'm leveled out again. My numbers are great/perfect. Good luck!
  19. It's something easy that anyone can do. Even if you gather up any and all half used bars in your house right this moment, shove them in a mailer envelope, and send that... that will be helping people in need.
  20. Absolutely. I've continued to keep her and you close to my heart. (((HUGS)))
  21. Yes, I'll absolutely think of him. People are still being found alive so there is hope. I'm sure he was in excellent physical shape, so that will help with chances of survival.
  22. It's a horrendous, horrible situation. We just found out that our county/city is going to be an area for possible refugees to come. We're considering taking in a Haitian youth.
