~ Taylor Swift.... she should never be allowed to sing in public. ~ Raspberries, Blueberries, nor Blackberries. I'm a strawberry chic myself. -
Don't tell PETA you feel that way. They want him to be replaced with a robot groundhog.
-
Thanks for that comical update Tara. It's good to be able to laugh during this time. (((HUGS))) to you all!

She has a white jacket on, and the blanket also has white and is hanging down. Sorry PsychoMom... to each their own with this one! There's just too much to dispute a reflection for me in the shot. I wish you well on your next trip to Savannah. If you've not been to Bonaventure Cemetery, go for a visit. So many great things to go and see.
-
Yep, might be interesting. But it wouldn't be from this same moment in time, with the same atmosphere/elements as yours. The lady in front of you is dressed in white. What I think the pane shows is a reflection of her, at least partially. As for Savannah, it's a great place to visit -- and certainly full of actual hauntings, ghosts, and more!!! I'm only about 2 1/2 hours from there now.

I'll just have to agree to disagree, and bow out now. Sorry - the picture just has way too many reflections/etc. in it to intrigue me much. P.S. LGM - sorry for sorta hijacking your thread.

May be unpopular opinion (sorry), but this photo has so many reflections from the various light sources, including camera flashes, that I find it very suspect to find anything in it. If it were a picture with little to no reflections present, or not through a glass pane, I'd find it more convincing. I was taught rule of thumb is that you look for the mundane, logical, reasonable explanations first. If there are plenty of those to explain it photography wise, then that's the opinion you have to go with. "Could" it be something? Sure, "things" can always be "something." Does it strike me as a

YES! I so hope it did help with some of the bugs... especially here in S. GA. Where skeeters are the size of hummingbirds and they carry you off to their den to suck on you later. I remember when we had that freeze several years ago. It was really hard on the wildlife in N. GA.

I've been wondering if we were going to have a winter that goes out like a lion myself.... so, we shall see! I've not seen any strong signs here of spring yet. I keep watching, and looking. The weather has been colder than we've had in a long time this winter. I've actually been glad of that. (Weird, and unpopular opinion, I know, I know...).
-
Ok. I downloaded your photo, made it lighter with more contrast. Is this what you are calling a figure?
-
I have a high res screen. All I see is a shadow that could be explained otherwise. I'm not seeing the figure. Sorry!
-
Unfortunately, from the other signs I've seen, I think that Punxsutawney Phil is going to be the right one.

Finally, an official news article! (Man, they were slow with that news.) http://www.ajc.com/news/georgia-groundhog-predicts-early-288864.html Georgia groundhog predicts early spring On a rainy morning somewhat reminiscent of the September floods that nearly swept away his Gwinnett County home, Georgia's resident groundhog, Gen. Beauregard Lee, Tuesday declared that spring is just around the corner. Related After hiding from his handlers at the Yellow River Game Ranch, then trying to climb the fence surrounding his plantation-style home, a reluctant Gen. Lee finally emerged at

I've not heard what the GA groundhog has predicted. If I'm not mistaken that was an OLD report. They've not posted the one for 2010.

They are all gathered in PA, waiting to see if Punxsutawney Phil will see his shadow or not. http://www.visitpa.com/things-to-do/see-more-pa/groundhog-day/index.aspx "If Imbolc day be dry and fair, The half o' winter to come and mair, If Imbolc day be wet and foul, The half of winter's gone at Yule."
-
Sorry, but I don't see anything.

Blessed Imbolc & Brigid's Feast!

Stopping in this morning, with thoughts of Shannon, you and your family Tara. Feel hugged!
-
PsychoMom - what are we suppose to be seeing in the pic?
-
You MUST MUST MUST MUST go to Bonaventure. Everything else is a cherry on the top, as far as I'm concerned.

Pink is a bad ass. Period. She's in tip top shape for her tour. Her voice is powerful, even when spinning around twenty feet up in the air! Stevie Nix rocks... still! And I'm sorry. Taylor Swift just isn't that great of a singer. She just isn't. Michael's kids are beautiful. I wish them the best. Oh! I did think that Mary J Blige with Andrea Bocelli was pretty awesome too! She could sing the phonebook and make it sound great. Beyonce is absolutely stunningly beautiful. She's also massively talented. BUT... I thought that performance last night sucked. Not to mentio

With the rash, if it's not strep, it could be Fifth Disease. http://kidshealth.org/parent/infections/skin/fifth.html The highest fever my son ever ran as a baby was with Fifths.

Continuing to think of you all Tara...

Awww, looks like a fun time was had!
