I don't think anyone ever said they were flawless... However, Honda's airbags are made by a company named Takata. Guess who else uses their airbags & seatbelt systems? Audi BMW Chrysler Daimler Ford Fuji Heavy Industries GM Honda Hyundai Mazda Mitsubishi Motors Nissan Toyota VW Image that. Yeah, buy American. Only one person has been killed because of the airbag flaw. Why don't we look at Ford and their fuel tanks that killed about 40 people before they recalled them and even considered fixing the problem? Or let's talk about th

.... and some computers have restore partitions on the hard drives. If your computer has a restore partition on the hard drive, when you first power up the machine and the initial splash screen (POST) comes up, it will say something to the affect of "press f12 to enter recovery".... not necessarily those words or key, but something to that affect (each manufacturer does it differently). If it has the partition and you get in to it, it will restore the machine back to the way it was when you first purchased it.

Court to decide if riding lawn mower is a “motor vehicle”
Nitro replied to MillCreek's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Nope, not at all.... Do you get all bent out of shape every single time you don't have your facts right? Seems like you're the one having a hissy fit because you don't know the law on agricultural equipment and roadway usage. Me? You're the one throwing out all the smart ass remarks and insults. I've done nothing nor say one smart ass'd thing about you.... I've done nothing but state simple facts. You're asking me questions, trying to be a smart ass and I simply answered them. Just because they weren't the answers you expected... you should r -
Court to decide if riding lawn mower is a “motor vehicle”

Yes, I have and on occassion, when necessary, I do. Yes, I have separate insurance on the lawn mower and yes, I am perfectly legal when I drive it on the street. I have all agricultural requirements met. You don't think so? Sorry, well, you're wrong. It absolutely means I can drive it on the street and when necessary, I do. -
Court to decide if riding lawn mower is a “motor vehicle”

Exactly where, anywhere in my posts, did I address some guy riding on the wrong side of the road or say that it was legal, in any way? I don't believe I did. I never responded to you in any way shape or form that would give the illusion that I said it would be legal. But since you want this address so badly, no it's not legal for them to ride opposite of traffic. They are require to display a SMV logo in a warning triangle, must not exceed 20mph (might be 25, can't remember), and they must travel in the regular direction of traffic. Happy? -

Uh... ok, apparently you don't know what the word "ignorant" means. Let me define it for you. Ignorant: lacking knowledge or information as to a particular subject or fact. It's not an insult... ignorance means you have no knowledge of a subject. As for the the use on roadways, again, "agriculture" equipment is allowed on the roadways (except interstate systems) and does NOT have to meet all the same criteria as other motorized vehicles, such as cars, motorcycles, etc. No, agriculture equipment does not need to have turn signals...although they are required to h -

Ya know, just because YOU were ignorant of the law and insurance doesn't mean you have to be a smart ass. And BTW, I DO have insurance on my lawn mower... and I don't believe anywhere that anyone said anything about it being a primary vehicle. I have insurance on everything I own... boat, motorcycle, cars, truck, lawn mower, etc... -

What you say doesn't matter... and as it pertains to the law, yes, a lawn mower is a motorized vehicle in the state of Georgia. TITLE 40. MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC CHAPTER 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS O.C.G.A. § 40-1-1 (2008) § 40-1-1. Definitions (33) "Motor vehicle" means every vehicle which is self-propelled other than an electric personal assistive mobility device (EPAMD). -

Most ATV's are capable of exceeding the 20 mph "agricultural" speed limit. Nope, they don't... and if you want insurance on your lawn mower, you can indeed get it. You can buy insurance on just about anything you want... You might now like the premiums you pay, but you can get it. -

Not sure if your response was aimed at my post or not, but if it was, I-20 is not a "surface street" it's an interstate and NO vehicle is allowed on an interstate that cannot exceed 40mph. The minimum speed limit on the Interstate system is 40 mph. -

DUI and the lawn mower being or not being a motor vehicle has nothing to do with each other. DUI is "DRIVING" under the influence... It doesn't matter if it's motorized or not. The fact that it's a lawn mower just possibly opens the door for riding a non-street legal vehicle & DUI. Not necessarily. Tractors are motor vehicles as well and they can be legally driven on the street without being registered or displaying a license plate. Some vehicles are listed as "agricultural vehicles" and are permitted on surface streets. There are some rules they m -
Gee, I've driven in 49 of the 50 states and have never once had a problem getting a ticket in any of them. How do I manage to avoid this? Well imagine this... I don't speed. Funny how that works.

As well as I. I got the DVD video collection and the old radio broadcasts on CD... I love listening and watching them over and over. It was also called out that way on the TV show, by both John Hart and Clayton Moore (had the pleasure to meet him in 1986. Got an authentic silver bullet too!). No doubt about that. I wish I could draw half as well as she did that tattoo.

Awesome! That's superb! I didn't think anyone knew who The Lone Ranger was anymore. Not to sound nit-picky, but if you'll take some constructive criticism, he didn't have brown pants... he had blue, same as his shirt and he wore a red neckerchief. None of that matters if the customer was happy though... His call was "Hi-Yo Silver" and not "Hi-Ho" No matter, you have an awesome talent! Great job! The Lone Ranger is my childhood (and even adult) hero.

traffic accidents everywhere today.....
Nitro replied to THHoneybear's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Just to add... Definitely the most dangerous time to drive is afterwards. The roadways are more slippery after the rain. The asphalt absorbs all the oils and gunk that cars/trucks/etc.. spill on them. When it rains, all those oils rise to the top of the asphalt as the rain penetrates (oil is lighter than water). While it's raining, the rain helps keep that oil from pooling up on the roadway, as it washes it off as the rain hits. After the rain stops, all that oil and junk rises to the top of the road surface and there's nothing to wash it off... -
I don't know what kind of seasoning Rodney uses on his steaks, but I can vouch for them. They are some of the best tasting and most tender steaks I've had! He definitely has the "chain" restaurants beat!

If your hubby posted that, and yes that was the post I was talking about, then my apologies to you. However, even for him, it doesn't matter. If you are on the interstate or not, it's no excuse. I don't buy in to the whole "If you don't do 75mph, you'll get run over". If you want advice on slowing people down, call the authorities. Let them handle it. If you don't see a response, call again, and again, and again. It may be a hassle, but after a while, they'll get the idea that you want something done. If necessary, call the PD or SO (whichever jurisdiction it is) as ask t

Ok, first off, it's not the road that is dangerous, it's the PEOPLE who drive on the road. Secondly, I find it absolutely hilarious and also hypocritical that you are "tired of bitching about it and want action" and you pretty much admit in your previous post that you are one of the speeders (not necessarily in this location). Here's a novel idea. SLOW THE HELL DOWN. No matter WHERE you drive, SLOW DOWN. People these days have some idea that they THINK they are fantastic drivers and can handle their car in emergency situations at any speed. I've got news for ya... you A

128 is DUI Task Force. He wasn't "simply keeping busy" His primary duty is traffic enforcement. He doesn't run domestic calls and such... he works traffic. 138 is a K9 unit and he, just like the DUI and CSU units do mostly traffic. They are looking for drugs and drunks. K9, CSU, and DUI do not answer regular calls. They may assist in another call, especially K9, but they are not dispatched out on normal every day calls. Their job is traffic enforcement. I too wish there were more traffic enforcement. I can't tell you how many times I see people driving 60+ m
