You have been able to continue your HC from your employer after leaving for as long as I have been working. That is the COBRA plan. It tends to be expensive. I am unfamiliar with how the ACA has affectes that plan. It seems though that if you got HC insurance through the exchange it would go wherever you go no matter who you work for. I think you need help with the plans not the law itself. I know that the bronzee plans are the minimum acceptable to the Feds under the law. The others I would have to see.
