  2. I was wondering what happened to her.
  3. I keep picturing the Tranformers when they dump Megatron into the sea. I hope there aren't any Decepticons on Bin Ladin's payroll.
  4. Really a negative for asking a legit question? There is a plus for you CG
  5. Silly wabbit... don't you know it is only okay to bash W. Any and all derrogatory comments about PIBO will result in swift, violent attacks about ones upbringing, attitude or heritage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lt0hAba0-iE&feature=player_embedded And Off to the PF we go....
  6. And yet someone here wanted us to believe inflation was only 3%.
  7. I don't see the problem... The only way to ACQUIRE the job was to INQUIRE within.
  8. What?? Lil GB still ain't here yet?!? Well Dayumm.... Well ah say naw son.... come on out already. Not as mushy as AGG but Seeing my daughter play sports and run around My son and his sometimes most appropriate understatements of wonder. We were watching tv last night and the ATT commercial with all the flowers came on. As the flowers were taking over the bridge and buildings, i just heard heard him say a simple "wow" I also get a lot of enjoyment from the crew interactions at the station. 6 guys together for 24 hours every 3rd day can leadto a whole lot of humorous
  9. Does anyone out there other than me know where the Femoral artery is and how this could come into play here? I wonder if improper lane change was also a factor?
  10. And as I said earlier, If our government placed the same requirements on Walmart as they do our healthcare system, then how long would it take before even Walmart would crumble under that load. It is not economically feasible for Walmart and it is not feasible for healthcare either.
  11. We have seen how they treat them (fallen US Soldiers). That is one of the reasons that our troops do everything humanly possible not to leave their fallen comrades behind. Even if it means the possibility of their death as well. You do not remember the fallen troops in Somalia do you?
  12. See, you just have to get to know me. I'm sure there are other things we agree on, they just do not seem to come up as often.
  13. And that is fine, but I contend it is better to save lives by making the killing of Christians a very bad thing for the terrorists. And that by doing the Christian thing you may feel better about yourself but how many other's lives have you saved? I'm sorry but I am tasked with the saving of lives, not with "feeling good" about myself. And no there should not be rejoicing, joking at the taking of someones life. You know me well enough to know how I feel about that first hand.
  14. Whoo hoo!!! :yahoo: A Christian out reach center right?
  15. You are still missing the point. Yes we can do the Christian thing. That Christian thing will not earn their respect for us so just get that out of your mind. Yes we stand the chance of upsetting other Muslims but they too need to realize that we are responding to TERRORISTS not Muslims. It is not our fault that the vast majority of TERRORISTS happen to be Muslims. Kind of the same as saying most of the pirates of today are from Somalia or Micronesia. Not too many Swedish pirates out there now are there? By doing the other we do not earn their respect but dang sure show how they will be treate
  16. I understand the "We are better than that concept". The thing that is lost on so many is that War is Hell. Couple that with Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. We are NOT trying to make friends with these idiots. Muslims as a group yes, terrorists NO. They have shown their capacity to do cruel and inhuman acts. THEY DID THEM FIRST. We need to treat them accordingly. If wrapping them in a pig carcass stops them from commiting these acts then so be it. We just need to let them know, We will be your friends, help you and play nice if you let us. If you choose not to, then the burde
  17. I fully understand overall. I am saying it ain't 3% overall. With a 25% increase in energy alone, that drives everything up. I am also saying that the report is not up to date or something else.
  18. Let me be the first to say BULLCHEEZE. 3%inflation including energy?!?!? Someone go get me a calculator. We just had a mandatory state tax increase because gasoline went up over 25% So we are paying at least 25% more for energy and that is needed on almost every single item at the store. I just paid $40 for a 50' roll of 12-2 electrical wire that was $20 not long ago. And $20 for a bundle of shingles (I'm putting in a roof ventilator) that was $7 in the early 2000 and $14 about a year ago. ANY idiot can go to the story and tell you right quick inflation is not 3%.
  19. It is really simple. Mom has kids and remains unmarried. She claims that she does not know who fathered the chhildren or even where any of the possible fathers are. As an unmaried mother with no visible means of support she qualifies for assistance from welfare to section 8 housing and more. What she is not disclosing is that "Dad" is actually living with them in the same house while working a good job. The key is to keep them from linking him as the real father of the children. And in some of the cases "Dad" went out and qualified for a mortgage. Bought a house and then placed it into the sec
  20. Ruh roh... Raggy! A rating system? I guess I'll have to stay out of the political forum then.
  21. That is in our first in territory for the fire station. I keep seeing the sign but have neve been in it. The entrance looks like your standard driveway right off Pine Mt. RD near Black Gum.
  22. I'm confused, I know there was a Don Brown on here already for a while now.
  23. Nope, not from me. While I reserve judjement on this case until I read about it, I have only read the synopsis, I will say that if the police wrong a citizen then they and the officer need to make ammends. I will also say that more times than not though, the police will be in the right but not always. I saw a couple of things at Acworth PD that really gave me pause. While things seem to have improved, it was enough to help me make the decision to move to the fire dept.
