I wish you the best. It makes me angry when people like you and your husband, who need this are being jerked around. Good luck.

I doubt it, our unions are pretty useless.

How much is the tuition for a private school? I'm guessing anywhere from 5 to 10 thousand per year. How many people pay that in property tax? Very few in this area. Most people pay 1,500- 3,000 per year in Paulding. Public education seems to be a relative bargain, considering we keep kids 8 hours a day and 10 or 12, if they play a sport, which coaches are paid virtually nothing for all the extra time they devote to kids. To me, it seems teachers get a bad rap for the lack of parenting at home along with the horrible attitude toward educators fostered by these same parents. For the parents who

There is much wasteful spending in education, primarily at the BOE level. In addition, positions such as graduation coaches and curriculum specialists are a waste of money. These positions are created for people who are well connected to the BOE and do little to help students or teachers. If the school year was shortened 3-5 days, it would save a tremendous amount of electricity and transportation funds.

I don't mind taking furlough days if it saves jobs. However, I think it's sh*tty to tell teachers right before school begins they have furlough days. I spend as little out of pocket as possible and it's not because I don't love kids. I can't afford to throw money away when student loan payments are a sizable portion of my monthly bills. Elected officials should be among the first to take furloughs.

I had an aunt that would use Chinese mustard on her kids when they cursed.

You'd need a shot of insulin afterward.

Although I think Vick is a scumbag, I believe he has the right to make a living. He has served his time and deserves a chance to be an upstanding citizen and honorable human being and if he effs up, then lock his ass in jail. I think he's paid a steep price, although it makes me sick he tortured innocent animals.

I got to see McCartney back in 2005 at Phillips Arena. I never thought I'd get a chance to see any of the Beatles, but my wife got me tickets. Needless to say, it was a great show.

So I'm wondering if the next Harry Potter film will be called the mystery of the magical bong? http://www.comcast.net/articles/entertainm...OTTER-CANNABIS/

Supposedly, he was passed out and drunk, was stabbed then strangled with the strap. Him and Mickey had three great fights.

It doesn't hurt a restaurant to redo an order of eggs and pancakes. Breakfast is the most profitable of its meals and I'm sure if you respectfully told them what the problem was, they would be more than happy to satisfy you.

I hope there wasn't a jar of peanut butter involved.

I'm glad to hear all went well and wish your Father in Law a speedy recovery.

I was an only child and had enough sense not to slap an infant. This kid was deeply disturbed.

Let he who has not looked at a nice ass, cast the first stone.

People want to protect family and friends, especially children. However, we cannot protect them from everything, especially someone who is mentally disturbed and commits a random act. Absolutely, we want to minimize the risk as much as possible, but still, horrible things like this could happen.
-
This kid had to be a crazy motherf***er. I don't care how many South Park episodes the kid watched, most 12yr. old kids have enough sense not to beat an infant. Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason and horrible things happen, you can't blame the mother or tv.

I wish your father the best and a speedy recovery.

I'm so happy for you both.

Right now, I'm drinking Newcastle but I like Sam Adams. A friend of mine turned me on to Peroni which I really like, even though I like dark beer. Bud gives me a headache, but if I'm thirsty enough, i'll drink whatever you put in front of me.
