I've been in GA for 17 years. My uncle was laid off 3 times since I have been here. He retired several years back with his house paid off and plenty of money in his 401k. Not bad for a man who started as a janitor. And just last year they hired 1000. I don't understand their policies. Seems like they are doing what most employers are trying to do... let go of the old higher paid dogs for some pups that will work cheaper. I agree on the rapists etc, but I say just let people grow their own. Once the government gets involved in the legalized selling it will be not be a pure product. They will find a way to add chemicals to increase their profits and in turn give consumers some kind of disease

Well, there is a big difference in notices of possible layoffs going to all 123,000 employees and 123,000 employees being laid off.
