I have called around to some different daycares, private pre-schools. There seems to be a big difference in price and therefore expectations. One daycare seem like they teach the 4 year olds very limited introductions to things, such as the ABCs, which my 2 year old is learning and comprehending now. Another private preschool teaches the 4 year olds Spanish and what seems to be exceled learning, but alot more expensive. My question is, how do I know which daycare/pre-school program is better. And what does Ga Funded Pre-K mean? Will he get to go to Pre-school for free at a Ga Funded pla

What can I do in Douglasville with my 2 year old son?

It isn't fun when they aren't dressed up and they are just looking for a handout. One girl didn't even have a bag, she just opened up her hand. It is just rude.

What size diapers.

We had fun. But we didn't get much candy at all. We visited each setup once and got about 25 pieces of candy, my son is 2 so can't eat most of it (hard candies). It was fun and the people there are sooo nice. I did think there were alot less vendors there this year. It made me want to volunteer with my own booth just so the kids could get more candy!

Who has a child that goes to Poole Elementary? Give me some feed back, the good, the bad, your experiences, whatever you want to share... We're going for a tour next week and I want some honest opinions....

Thanks for posting! I live in Autumn Creek, the turn around area for people trying to go down Due West. And I have wondered about the progress.

I wouldn't lock my kid in his room, but I don't think it is wrong if you want to if it is for a short amount of time and you are awake and monitoring the child often. I was locked in my room when I was a kid and in trouble.

I can't take a right out of Autumn Creek, it is closed. I don't want to go where I am not suppose to. It has been closed since Monday due to flooding near the stables. Have you gone down there? Is the road gone?

I heard 50 feet of road on Due West collapsed. Any truth to that?

I live off of Due West in Autumn Creek subdivision. Our water has been off since 4pm. But my in-laws water is on and they live off of Due West and the Publix water is on and they are only a block away. Does anyone know why ours would be off but the other homes/businesses is not off?

Its not the poor techs fault. He just wants to get home to his family. Now he's having to wait and not get paid just because some idiot gave the wrong number.

It was a robbery. I know the teller who was robbed. Everybody is fine.

When you have a roofing claim you get a depreciation check from your insurance company. Do NOT sign over the insurance company check to a roofer. I am getting a new roof and I am keeping part of the check as my depreciation payout. Also, alot of storm chasers aren't longterm companies therefore they won't have a longterm warrenty. They say they do, but if they go out of business in a year, then what would you do. It is best to use a roofing company that has been around a long long time. Have them check out your roof then call you insurance company if you really do need a roof.
