  1. I hope you guys are right. I sure do like getting the news so easily. I'm not sure I would want to deal with the whole payment thing.
  2. Pubby, how do you think this move will affect the way we post sources we provide when discussing issues on P.com? What do you think of it in general? http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/277046 A lot of companies are predicting that online content will not be free anymore. The Financial Times Editor is the latest person to discussion a subscription-based model. In a speech in London, Financial Times Editor Lionel Barber said that within the next 12 months, news agencies will be charging access to their websites. The only thing that will be discussed, according to the editor, is
  3. Sorry if it offended you. I am not known for having the most tact in the world. To me it was just a Sarcastic play on words and I can see that it was not the best idea. I will try to change it.
  4. Yes, it is chilling. I wonder if there were any warning signs outside of his blog.
  5. These come under the same umbrella. They are both considered special needs of a sort.
  6. I would agree with NC-17 except for one thing, How did the original strain get to America from Africa, and how did so many heterosexual non drug users get it? It was spread by one man to a variety of people. This is very bad news because if anything people are less responsible now than they were then. How many poor folks are going to go get tested, how many promiscuous folks really want to know, and how many teens even give it a second thought? We have a lot of folks who are immigrating to the US with this disease and our country no longer bans them (if the officials even know they have
  7. I guess I liked her because she was unpredictable and could be surprising in her reactions and comments. I thought she added some life to the panel. I have always thought she was very pretty.
  8. Sounds as though she was not really offered a deal. At least that's what the article implies. http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/b137736_pa...=rss_topstories Less than a week after E! News confirmed that Kara DioGuardi will be returning to the judges' table, Abdul wrote on Twitter Tuesday that she will not be back for the show's ninth season. "With sadness in my heart, I've decided not to return to #IDOL. I'll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all...being a part of a show that I helped from day1become an international phenomenon," read two tweets posted shortly after
  9. This man did not seem to care for women. There were about 30 in this class when he walked in turned out the lights and stated shooting. COLLIER TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A gunman shot 15 people -- four fatally -- at the LA Fitness gym in Collier Township before taking his own life. Witnesses described seeing people covered in blood in a shooting that may have involved more than one location. http://www.thepittsburghchannel.com/news/2...352/detail.html
  10. I wonder if they ask if you are a legal citizen when you take this test and get certified?
  11. Maybe we could buy them lunch. I love this idea! The USO tries to welcome them at the Airport but I really would love to do something for our Paulding soldiers when they come marching home.
  12. It seemed to me that this only applied to scarves and medical headgear. I think searches of this type of headgear will happen so it did not seem to me that the court did anything other than make the court rule a standard one and to clarify the issue. I can't say that I agree with it either as far as safety. I think if a weapon ever gets through, the policy will change.
  13. Hey TBAR! I started to post this but I wanted to see if you would. I won the bet with myself!
  14. This is part of the article and I think this solution was suggested in the discussions on P.com: The Judicial Council of Georgia voted unanimously this week to allow religious and medical headgear into Georgia courtrooms. It also allows a person to request a private inspection if a security officer wants to conduct a search. I don't see this as a shift. I see it as clarification. A search can be done and it should be done in private. JMO
  15. If I ever run into you or happen to be at one of your performances, remind me not to talk to you. You might start trying to guess my age!!!
  16. It really is! Hey, they took away the guns in Katrina during the previous administration. It wasn't right then and it would be no less right if this administration ordered it!
  17. The flu is expected to mutate and become a deadly strain. The picture would change if that happened. Depends on how much control they are given and the tasks they are expected to perform. During Katrina they took away the guns. I would not want to see them try to do that!
  18. Was it 'GAgirl' who gave us a report on that? Maybe she can update.
  19. You mean they might take away weapons like they did in New Orleans after Katrina? I know you are joking?
  20. Is he that funny guy that plays in the Lethal Weapon Movies? I thought maybe you meant GI Joe.
