Psycho Mom may have some ideas on that. I am afraid we can't always tell who these folks are but I also know some serve time in jail and then are released to continue their violent behavior. I have no clue how to stop it I have just decided to protect my family any way that is necessary. Sometimes that just means taking extra precautions with people we don't know very well. This Mom did not know her nephew very well!

I am sure you did not mean that to excuse anyone's behavior in this case. You are right they do, and it is a shame little ones have to suffer because of poor parenting skills or down right evil people!

I could agree with you if I was sure she really KNEW the 12 year old. He lived in another state after all. No way would I have done it. But I do realize that not all Mothers are as over protective as I was. I am the same way with the Grand kids.

The food was great and the owners are wonderful! It was nice to see all of you guys. I would love to have breakfast there again. If Wednesday doesn't work for some maybe Friday would be better. LPPT it was a real treat to see you and I am so glad you are feeling better!

This is one I donate too in addition to the food bank across from Dallas Elementary School, Cops for kids (Paulding County Sheriff's group), and DFCS (Foster Children). There are so many great groups and great people in Paulding. Any of these would be valid organizations. There are also churches, as some have mentioned, who help with food and clothing.

Thank you! They don't seem to have a record of my Dad's WWII and Korea! He won the Bronze star with clusters among others. I am fortunate enough to have the medals and all documentation. I wonder if the purple heart info is all that was lost?
