They were not questionable. I suggest you leave Mr. Seabolt out of this because he lost the election and he does not need any more grief. He decided to stand up and run for office and we should let sleeping dogs lie and just remember that part. JMO -
This is one lucky pooch! He was rescued from the ice after being there for days and traveling more than 60 miles down a river. I still can't put the video up but here is a link to the video and the story. I may have missed it and someone may have already posted it. http://www.wcsh6.com/news/watercooler/story.aspx?storyid=113913&catid=108

I am so very Sorry! Prayers for your family.

Thanks BB. I guess I should have read the Dallas New Era earlier. I do have one. That is one subscription I plan to keep.

He helped me this week too. Great guy! Thanks Mike!

OK, I still want to know about the law suits that are related to the County Commission and if someone finds out (and gets back on topic) please let me know! I also am interested in why no one at all is allowed to speak at the public meetings. I actually can understand why the Commissioners might not want to hear or discuss things that they might have to deal with in a court of law. Not sure why other folks can't speak though.

I thought it was the same thread with all of my posts edited out.

Prayers will get a little louder! That seems to be good news.

I do believe that proved to be the case in the BOE races in 2008. We now have new members. -
I always enjoy your posts so will look for your new screen name!

I made a comment on pcom once that I thought had been in print and I found that it was a word of mouth thing. It is embarrassing and now I always make sure I can find a news source for this kind of thing. Whitey, it sounds like you had bad info from somewhere. That kind of thing can hurt folks. You might want to make a correction. JMO -

You mean you can't speak even if you sign up before the meeting to speak? You can't be put on the agenda if you make that request? -
They are great. We have been using them for a long time.
-
Does that mean that some of those folks we decided don't want to be our friends because they didn't answer our pms really sent them to Pubby by mistake?

I believe 3 of those BOE members are gone now. Elections have consequences and that is a fact. There is no getting around the counting of votes and we lost in the bond issue BS. I wish it had gone differently but the majority of the voters who came to the polls got what they voted for. I wonder if they would do the same thing today or for that matter if the same BOE members would do the same thing today. We sure do have a different economic picture in Paulding today than we had then. -

Don't know if I would want to see it in Paulding, Atlanta maybe. I don't think we have the other things that would be needed to draw folks either. Atlanta does. You are right about the jobs. -
