Not to mine! I am really glad they aren't there anymore. That guy was a total jerk and his comments were hurtful to innocent children and their families. I had no desire to feed any troll either or to push any agenda. I never had one except to let folks know how dangerous the frozen water can be.

Anyone who didn't see his comments could have been confused by your response and possibly Pubby's. I did understand why you got so upset though. People like him just try to push buttons and he did manage to push some. We don't always agree but we always find something to agree on. I think you said that first. I hope you will keep responding with passion. I know I will!

Fortunately there was only ONE POSTER who made comments like that, and he went away quickly, thank goodness. I have never seen that poster before and everyone who responded to him more or less told him to go away. He was not a nice guy.

You are right, you can't, and shouldn't follow kids that age around. I sure did drive mine crazy with the words be careful though and I did make sure I knew where they were going when they left the house and who they were with. I am reading more today about tragic accidents that happened over the last couple of days. They happened because folks didn't know enough about the dangers of ice.
