  1. If I were billed $250,000.00 in services I would fully expect an itemized billing statement. I get one from my attorney. It is a shame that it gets tossed because of this. Let's get this to court now.
  2. Both Thad and Mellisa have stated on here that their lawsuit has no bearing on her running so why would it affect their campaign? Obviously it does. I totally agree with you that they are very wise not to use this against David. Very, very smart move on their part. I asked the question why this was not reported 2 days ago on here by the staff.
  3. "During the subsequent hearings in each respective case, the Morrisons's counsel, Glen E. Stinson, was the sole witness. Although Stinson neither produced nor tendered any billing statements, invoices, or business records, he testified that he had incurred $147,765 in fees in one case and $117,348.68 in fees in the other.12 Stinson further testified that, with the exception of time spent preparing and filing the complaints, "every hour" of the fees incurred during the five years of litigation was directly attributable to the Board's Wherefore clauses.13" "Consequently, the General
  4. What is tempting you? And why would it not be good. I asked a question in another thread about this. Turns out a ruling was handed down 2 days ago and NOTHING has been posted. I am a tax payer in the County who likes to know what his share of money is spent on.
  5. This was handed down 2 days ago. Really surprised that this was not posted by the news crew of PCom earlier. This is big news for Paulding County residents.
  6. So you are using the previously scheduled wine tasting at this establishment as a free venue for stumping? I'm sure that you have already contacted them and informed them of this. They may need to order more food and drink. Also, it has been about a year since the verdict of your Anti-slap. I'm sure there's been some sort of update by now.
  7. Time will tell. I say sometime around early November.
  8. What I find interesting is that a very conservative judge sides with five liberal judges. Calls this a tax increase and basically tells America that if they don't like it, fire the law makers in November. Does anyone else see the "set up"?
  9. I've been to him and thought he was a great Doctor. Is it my understanding that he is the husband of a frequent poster here, or do I have it wrong?
  10. The EPD made them permanent.
  11. Water Restrictions Link
  12. This is one of the reasons why I still visit this place!
  13. The County shows a lot of items on the local news channel that has background music. Parks and Recreation and the Christmas Parade come to mind. It is possible that these iTunes were used for these purposes. The music must be purchased somewhere.
  14. Not only did you do the right thing, you most likely saved that teller's job. Good for you!
  15. A very good story indeed. People need to be very, very careful what they write in emails, or public forums for that matter. So much garbage is being tossed around by a few on this board makes for interesting discussions in certain offices. The "print screen" button on the keyboard is a very powerful tool.
  16. Shame on you for hijacking Trixie's post. Have you no respect at all?
  17. News, for the most part, used to be better before the age of the internet and message boards. The lack of a filter can be very telling. Speaking of which, sometimes we forget that no one is who they are in real life as they are on screen.
  18. I only do what my Rice Krispies tell me to do.
  19. Congrats to all of you! Our youngest graduated from East Paulidng High yesterday. A bitter sweet day it was.
  20. Okay Pat we will discuss the three highlighted areas above,,, 1: For all of us to know, what are your credentials for being a journalist? There have been posts thrown around here about the credentials of candidates, it would be nice to know that of the owner of this place. 2: As a journalist, you should have no personal opinion about any of the races. Report about it, accurately, and be done with it. I have ignored most of your above diatribe because, quite frankly Pat, you can't say anything on this board unless you wax poetry and expound blubber. 3: You know damn well who
