kinda crazy to debate something without having the facts to support your side of the argument. unless your talking about debating how we feel about the charges, the roads, the DOT, the DA, and the parents. in which case........nah. can't really debate feeling either. no clear win/lose columns. also. i don't feel. lets just stick with you being the speculator (and a very passionate one at that!) and me being the cynical, bitchy, voice of reason. will that work? if so, we'll get along just fine.

i think i might understand your sentiment, kind of. but, if you and i both traveled that road, safely, on wednesday, thursday, and friday...without wrecking, dying, or killing anyone else..... it kind of goes against the arguement that the road wasn't maintained as passable on friday. i don't have a dog in this fight. i don't work for cobb county and am not affiliated with the families involved in the accident. it seems, almost silly(?) to accuse the DA of bringing charges against a teen to deflect attention away from the DOT and its sub contractors. what does the DA have to gain i

we must have the same commute. and...very minimal is vastly different that no attempt made at all. were you traveling that road everyday during the ice storm? i was not. i stayed home on monday and tuesday. thankfully, i didn't die. i was very careful though, and made sure i was home until daylight, and home again before dark. glad you were able to travel the roads safely as well. its a shame that this girl died.

not to be contrary, but, please cite your souce of information on this. i can't seem to find any info on which roads were cleared, which were attempted to be cleared, and which were ignored completely.

define rich. in money. what is your definition of monetarily rich? i can think of several 'rich' (in money) people who work for large corporations. and several 'poor'9in money) people who work for themselves.

the article that i read cited failure to maintain lane. i have o idea if there were any other traffic charges. i can't find anything but the same article, regardless of what link i follow.

usually, in order to bring charges against someone, there has to be a precedent set, or a law broken. very rarley are there revenge charges taken by the DA that hold up in court. if and when that might occur, i'd like to think that a jury of 12 would see right through it. and the county would be opening itself up to way more liability than just not keeping the raods as clear as some would expect. not a very smart move.

i check my bank account daily. too lazy to use a check register. instead, i use an excel spreadsheet, and reconcile to my online statement, every day. it always makes me stop and wonder when folks don't notice things about their account history. i FREAK out if i think a transactiona has a wrong date on it. lol

isn't iTunes a program that you log in to? it's possible that you can log in to your iTunes from a different computer..... my account is accessible from my laptop, iPad, or desktop.
