  1. I have been to a few. I like them. Their "off" brands aren't bad to me. Their dairy products were better tasting to me than some name brands. Also, their produce is often cheaper and looks better than other stores.

  3. People who use the word spill when what they mean is spiel.
  4. I wanted to go. Had to save the money towards our vacation next month instead.
  5. My husband and I are so glad about Academy coming so nearby. Our only concern is that being in Hiram will ruin it. Though that Kroger was popular (I hate to say it for fear of its loyalists' backlash) it was kind of dirty and disorganized, much like the other large stores in Hiram. For example, the KMart is one of the dirtiest and disorganized I have ever seen, same for the Super Target, Kohl's (though it looks better now since their remodel, but that probably won't last long), and WalMart (in comparison to other stores elsewhere). :ninja:
  6. If I could give you a plus 10 on this post, I would .
  7. I don't think he was inciting violence at all. Since when is advocating self-defense or protecting one's self the same as inciting violence? It's nice that you had such a great experience, but the facts speak for themselves.
  8. That's not necessarily true. Some kids are just really picky and won't start eating more vegetables until they are older. At least in our home, this is the case. My husband and I prepare and have prepared healthful meals for our children since they were old enough to eat them. My son is just now starting to actually eat the vegetables on his plate.
  9. It's more of a mutual thing when it comes to giving and taking orders around here. Anyway, I don't think it necessarily has anything to do with the intelligence of the people working in these establishments. I think it is more often the case that their give-a-damn broke a long time ago. Though for some of them it may very well be intelligence, or the lack of it, related.
  10. I used to work at a golden arches and handled special orders just fine, thank you.
  11. I remembered this thread the other evening when I was pulling some out-of-control vines out of a bed on the side of my house. Heard some buzzing so I ran for the garage. Peeked around the corner a few minutes later and saw hundreds of yellow jackets hovering around where I had just been pulling. I thought they were honey bees at first, but then googled yellow jackets and sure enough, by the picture and the description that is what they are. I sprayed them that evening and the next morning checked to see if they were still active and there were still a couple buzzing around there. I really
  12. If you want more strength-training with a little bit of cardio thrown in, I would do P90X. If you want some high-intensity cardio, then Insanity. Both work, it just depends on what works for you. For more in-depth details you can check out the Beachbody message boards also. I have done P90X and started Insanity, but it was just too much high-impact for me. Plus I have found that I prefer workouts with good music to help motivate me (like Turbo Jam and Turbo Fire, also sold by Beachbody) so much that I became a Turbo Kick (the gym class version of Turbo Jam) instructor . Unfortunately, I h
  13. Yes, that is the one. According to the address it is indeed in Dallas.
  14. No, that is at the intersection of 278 and Old Harris I believe.
  15. Really, any place open in Paulding or even Cobb county for that matter, at 3 a.m. is a little scary to me.
  16. I hope there is going to be one there. Love Academy! To get to one now we have to drive to either McDonough or Chattanooga.
  17. The TV show Parks and Recreation. We started watching it on Netflix on a whim and now it's one of our favorite shows. I think they have the first two seasons on there so far.
  18. It was nice meeting you as well and I hope you have lots of fun with it!!!
  19. Ours is that much a year. Our subdivision is small, but the pool is just the right size and it seems like there is always somebody there.
  20. My daughter just finished third grade and just got braces this year. In her case, her two top front teeth have a big gap which was keeping the adult teeth on either side of them from coming down correctly. They would have come straight out (which you could see on the x-ray was starting already) instead of going down like they were supposed to. She also had to have four teeth pulled because they weren't even loose and the adult teeth were already trying to come in behind them. She is doing a Phase I and Phase II plan with Dr. Justice. Phase I is braces on the top four teeth to bring them t
  21. My daughter goes to Dr. Justice too. We love him and his staff.
  22. I bought a Corioliss on Ebay after my original one (that a friend gave me when she was buying a new Chi) crapped out after a couple of years. I think I paid $34.99 with free shipping. Bought a Chi at Marshall's before I bought the new Corioliss and it didn't get hot enough and pulled my hair.
  23. If they are going to make this a law, then I think with some of the clothing that people are wearing (or more the lack of it) there should also be a law. I am more disgusted by that than a woman feeding her child, but that's just my opinion. P.S., I breastfed each of my children until they were 2. Think of me what you will.
