  1. LEO parking? No. Mayor? Definitely. Employee of the Month? Probably not.
  2. It's legal to block a county road? In order to park in front of my house you would have to completely block the lane. Unless you pull off into the three foot deep ditch. And your opinion is valid. I never said you were wrong for it and I never questioned your manners or called you an ass. End of story.
  3. I usually park way out in the parking lot for some extra exercise. However, pregnant women are no more special than I am. I'm for personal responsibility. I don't expect anyone to cater to my needs. I would never park in a handicapped spot or the fire lane or the striped area designated for handicapped folks to get their chairs out. And you have no idea how much of a gentleman I am. You've never met me. And by the way I chose not to live in a subdivision. Anyone parking on my street would be blocking a county road which is illegal. See another choice.
  4. To my knowledge pregnant women aren't covered under The Americans With Disabilities Act. So yes, if necessary I'll park in those expectant mother spots all day long. Pregnancy is a choice.
  5. At this point I assume he needs a 2x4 to keep from falling in that canyon.
  6. If gas isn't an option where you live then you have no choice. I have a smooth top stove and I use thick bottom stainless pots from IKEA. $30 for a 10pc set and I couldn't be happier. I do use cast iron but only my enameled dutch oven. If you're careful about not banging and setting down too hard it works just fine.
  7. But you chose to have a baby. I don't think that makes you special. If you have a handicap get a plaque for the mirror otherwise walk.
  8. Just an FYI I'm not working anywhere these days.
  9. She posted it in an iFrame. What browser are you using?
  10. As an industry professional I am not a fan of NACA.
  11. It also helps if you have one of these.
  12. Just a word of caution. The longer you hold that card without turning it in the more you look like the suspected thief. I would not hold that card I would stop what I was doing and take it to the bank or the nearest police station.
  13. As Mrs B said its Pumpkin Muffins that only get made once or twice in the season.
  14. I thought "shacking up" was a sin.
  15. OH...I LOVE YOU...I just had the biggest belly laugh.
  16. I would never vote for Boyd Austin after reading his admission in that story. I guess it's good for him I can't vote in Dallas.
  17. Thanks for answering. Sarcasm doesn't translate well.
  18. Tell me again the basis for the anti-gay marriage argument.
  19. Be careful. I clicked on the link in the OP and got a virus alert that it was blocking malware.
  20. I wish we could have stayed longer. Business is hopping thankfully. I might swing by again tomorrow when I'm done showing property. And it was great to finally meet you.
  21. I'm glad Brandon and I could get by there today. Sorry we couldn't stay any longer than we did. Business called for us as well. The new digs are awesome. I'm so proud for you.
  22. If the folks who ran the place were any indication I'm not shocked. My experience with them was less than pleasing.
  23. Too bad Mr. Tingler is being lumped into a group.
  24. YES!!!! I think it would be awesome. I've spent my share of time in Harrah's New Orleans and loved it. If I ever get to Las Vegas I'll be in heaven. I am a sucker for a quarter slot. I love them.
  25. I've met Marvin Tingler. I speak to him regularly. He really doesn't possess enough practical knowledge of the political history of Dallas to know what you guys are even talking about. He's not aligned with anyone. He is a well educated, professional, citizen of Dallas that is seeking election to the office of Mayor on the platform that he will encourage and promote the establishment and growth of small business. I can't find any harm in that. If I were a citizen of Dallas I would vote for him.
