  1. I just can't believe she's gone. I really didn't believe my Mom when she called to tell me. She was just the most kind person you've ever met. I often tell people that I know very few "true Christians." She's one of them. I've never met a nicer woman. While she was not part of my every day life, you just always knew she was there. It's very sad. I feel terrible for her immediate family. She held that family together and this is a huge shock for everyone.
  2. This is my Aunt Lori's (My Mom's youngest brother's wife) mother. Elberta will be missed tremendously by our family. I found out very late this afternoon and I'm surprised to see Clark has it up so soon. Elberta and Jr. were two of the kindest people you'd ever meet. She truly was the matriarch of her family and her sudden, unexpected passing has shocked us deeply. Please keep the family in your thoughts, especially Jr. as he is understandably having a very difficult time.

    Days 1 & 2

Yesterday my boyfriend and I started using Chantix to stop smoking. I have been hearing great things about it and our physician, who is normally very skeptical, agreed that Chanitx was a great drug and was more than happy to write us the prescriptions. Last night my boyfriend recommended that we blog about our experience. So here goes: Saturday 1/5/08 Day 1: I took the pill in the morning as instructed and didn't give it a second thought. I have no idea if it was the psychological effects of knowing that I took the pill, but I noticed a marked decrease in my desire or need to smoke. E
  4. I am terribly sorry for your loss. I'm 31 and couldn't imagine loosing my Dad. Cling to the happy memories. You're in my thoughts.
  5. Considering the walker in the stall, my guess is he wasn't entertaining himself. I'm betting the exlax that he came in for to begin with kicked in before he could get out of the store.
  6. Send it to the dude who dropped his pants. I jus calls it as I sees it. And I really do enjoy reading this forum. It's nice to know we have such fun goings on in Paulding.
  7. I heard on the radio this morning that the state kept the burn ban in place due to the drought. Wise move if you ask me. Also, is anyone else concerned that Lake Allatoona could be dry by February. I heard that on Channel 2 the other day. YIKES...I guess we'll be buying bottled water.
  8. That Emory Flight sure does get a lot of action. Isn't that twice today in Paulding alone? They were out here on Vinsont Mtn. in Polk Co a few months back when an 18 year old speeding down my road on a 4-wheeler missed a sharp curve and went into a creek bed off the side of the road. EF landed about 500 feet from my house in the pasture. Really wild.
