  1. Tuners on old vcrs were for convenience. Not a requirement. For watching she will be fine without one. If she wants to record she may need a cable box.
  2. Without pics, this topic is useless. There we go, now I can celebrate!
  3. Whenever I'm laboring I'm thinking about the cold beer at the end of the day. Hurry up and get that bun outta that oven so we can hit the bar.
  4. Mmmmmm.. I like my large cuts of bacon extra crispy!! I'm about to go make chicken fajitas on the grill tonight. Wish me LUCK!!
  5. Actually as of now I think you can call the GBI Drug Task Force number and report the stores.
  6. This is just scuttlebutt for now about that, but very believable with the way media is these days,. I've come across a few different sources now reporting publishers interest in this, so I'm leaning towards it being believable. I'm assuming the files would be DRM'd with a counter/timebomb, they tried the same with MP3's during the Napster days. Makes sense really. Digital files don't wear out like normal items would, but for the me the getcha would be the sharing limitation. We upgrade so often these days files like that would be locked real fast sharing them to the new things. But I also
  7. A bit of a Hijack, but am I the only one who reads this as Mallowmars?
  8. Looks wonderful wife and I will have to try to get by there. I'm still hunting a complete first edition on a set of books that was published by a university in a limited run. I was looking at your photos and didn't see any ebooks on them shelves. Kidding aside, was reading where publishing companies are thinking about putting a "wear out" clause in their ebooks. Saying each ebook will be limited to sharing to 3 devices, one you download to, along with two others, and each share will only good for a limited number of reads.
  9. Oh yeah, the "potpourri" they put the RC's on, is just a standard alternative legal herbal smoking blend, been around probably as long as folks on the pot. They have to soak this in a caustic chemical to saturate the plant meterials, like Acetone, the RC's are mixed into the wet blend and the salts dissolve into the plant materials, it's left to dry, bagged, and then shady convenience store owners sell it to whomever. So the potpourri being just a delivery method, and it being just another in a long line of delivery methods for the chems, I wouldn't be surprised to see a new product show
  10. There's been stories about the street lights in certain neighborhoods putting out EMI signals that would disrupt entire neighborhoods early in the DSL roll out days, and it would drive folks crazy cos the techs who'd easily discover this, only work during daylight hours. If you have problems all you can do is keep calling to complain. Had to get a 2nd line drop to my house because somewhere in the first line which runs over 300ft from the road to my house there was a break and when the wind would blow, hang ups on the phone, and no dsl.
  11. Isomer salts of research chemicals that simulate the effects of marijuana by binding to the cannibindinol receptors in the brains. Bath Salts, Plant Food, etc.. this stuff has been around for a bit over a decade, became a HUGE problem in Europe whereas they nipped it in the bud completely about 3 years back. The US DEA was about 2 years behind Europe in recognizing and studying these isomer salt chems. So the states/DEA have been struggling to identify these chemical salts and pass legislation banning them, the thing is, there's probably about 300-400 different variations of the chems and
  12. Awesome! Easy dinner that's hard to mess up and we like it here too. Just a warning, when you open up the container the next day someone around you gonna think you just cut one, peeee-ew, but it will still taste just as good.
  13. Just stepping in here to confirm my reservation for two this evening, thanks.
  14. My mother has RA, she was on Enbrel for what I believe was 9 months total with very little change in her symptoms. I'm not familiar with your type of Arthitis but I know the drug was supposed to limit her symptoms and slow down the progression of the disease, and now that's she's been off of it about 2 months, she says she can't tell the difference. Unfortunately only thing that really helps her is pain medications, steroids, and maintaining a good diet with normal supplements. Wish you luck finding something that may help you. Edited to add: Oh she did do some easy home yoga stu
  15. Ooooheee I done did heard about those cruises. You get to sit on deck in double lounges with your significant other all snuggled up in blankets under the midnight sun. Can you say, Boom-Chicka-wah-wah.
  16. Went through there this afternoon, looks like they got the side going towards Hiram with the lane closed marked much better now than they had been having. When your first clue was an orange diamond at the very top of the hill then you get to the top see ALL the signs, Brake Lights, and the Merge Arrow, and little room to react it was a little hairy last week.
  17. I say they should open her on up. By the time 2076 rolls around the tapes will be dust, not to mention that the earth will be over-run with Zombies, so might as well do it now.
  18. And you are putting too much weight into people who looked out their windows from their lit apartments, on a dark night, in which it was raining, and saw two folks scuffling, and said they couldn't tell who was crying for help. Most these folks calls and involvement begin around that point and the time the gunshots are fired, before they can even begin to "witness" a thing. What they're now trying to call an eye-witness account is one guy saw them on the ground, scuffling, and when he looked again, one of them was dead, before this, police only have Zimmerman's statement to go on about wh
  19. I went trawling for this witness, and realized we've come full circle. There are NO eye-witnesses. You keep using verified like these witnesses saw what happened and they did NOT. The witnesses you keep mentioning only corroborate his story, as per the LEO release, mainly by what they reported via 911 calls. You know you can pull up all the LEO investigation information in Florida through their databases and bypass the AP. And the interviewed witness only corroborated his story based upon what he could hear going on outside. Corroboration does not equal seeing what ac
  20. I remember the days when the Hormel Girls used to criss-cross America extolling the virtues and patriotism in buying and eating nothing but. And it's Hawaii's #1 domestic import.
  21. If this witness exists and is real this should go to trial. If I were Zimmerman and in the right I would definitely want to go to trial if I knew I had an eye-witness just to exonerate myself at this point.
  22. Yup all that stuff is screened out when they blow the bits of meat off the carcasses with high pressure water jets. Gawd, just think if folks saw hotdogs being made, talk about liquid retch.
  23. I remember when the law that this was filed under was first passed, many of my gun owner friends in Florida were worried that something like this exactly would happen, and blow up in exactly this fashion. The law itself is great, the police application of it in this instance is fail and I'm not going to deny race may have been a variable in that decision, because I'm not altogether totally dense, but it's not one I feel comfortable with coming out and claiming as having everything to do with the decisions made in this case.
  24. I'll agree with that. But your point about that is? Oh we both shouldn't be quoting any media sources... gotcha. Sure the media is going to warp crap all over the place to play to a narrative. They have to entertain and maintain advertising revenues as well. No what disturbs me most is seeing how much folks on here are still trying to make much ado about race, and I frankly don't give a flip if the entities involved were purplepottahippamuses with strawberry smelling shave bumps. What it all comes down to is: Youth looks suspicious. Man carrying gun follows youth ar
  25. Not a fact. Quote taken from an AP story that uses the Sun Sentinal story as it's base.
