  1. I second Dr Mullens at LensCrafters for the exam, then take script to Hiram Walmart. We also like Marietta Eye Clinic in Marietta, but may have to give the Paulding location a try for the exam.

  3. We live on Davis Mill South and heard sirens, thought they may have been in Davis Mill subd but did not see anything. We were wondering also...
  4. DD was just diagnosed with Crohn's at the end of December. The Dr. started her on Remicade. So far, it is going well. She still has flare-ups. There is no cure. We are still determining what foods cause her pain... Stress is a big cause of a flare-ups and a teenage daughter in high school has no stress (saying sarcastically) keeping her grades up with many absences and just normal teenage life.... I agree, a colonoscopy is the only true test to find the cause. The Dr. initially wanted to diagnose with Irritable bowel, but after a little while of continuing pain, I insisted and he scheduled the
  5. We agree!! Astro needs to go! However, our house agreed that tonight was Astro's best......We muted the tv during his performance!! The judges (especially L.A) are constantly telling the contestants to step out of their comfort zone and take a chance....except with Astro...he raps every song and it is getting on my last nerve. L.A. needs to make him **SING** a song, not rap it for once... Melanie is our favorite! She has an AWESOME voice!! She is da !!!
  6. Lock and Dam Park, Rome, GA!!!! Awesome!! Since we started going here, we haven't gone anywhere else!! The campground is on FB. McKinney and Victoria on Allatoona are good too!
  7. Thanks sugail for posting the school message. We got the call but it cut off on the answering machine... And for some reason, it didn't call our cells this time... Mrs. Pepper

  15. We love our smooth-top. It is so easy to clean... We use cast iron on it a lot! You just have to be careful not to drag it across the top of the stove. The reason they tell you not to use cast iron is because it can scratch the smooth top surface but so can any other type cookware if you're not careful. Now that we've had it, I wouldn't go back to gas or conventional electric stove top. The smooth top is the easiest to clean. We also got one with the "warming plate" (a 5th burner) and that has been wonderful!! It makes it very easy to heat things such as soup or beans while cooking the rest o
  16. DW: '89 McEachern DS: '09 Hiram DD: '14 Looks to be PCHS due to the redistricting this year...We'll see how many times it will change before she actually graduates..
  17. For our 5 yr, the wife booked us a cabin in Blue Ridge and on our anniversary night had a chef service come in. It was one of the neatest experiences.. The weekend we walked around town and did the touristy attractions, took the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad tours. It was inexpensive but we had a great time just spending time together. Here are the websites: http://www.firstclasscabins.com/ http://www.cabincuisine.com/
  18. Oreo pie It is extremely EASY and quick. 19. Dr Jaffe at Pinnacle in Austell is GREAT!!! He is the only one my daughter will see. She has broken each arm once and has seen him both times. She likes him so much she threatens to get hurt just to see him..... We've had to tell her if she gets hurt, she pays the co-pay to deter her........
  20. Our condolences. Prayers for you and your family. You will be in our thoughts and hearts.
