  1. I was all set to watch SNL on Saturday until I saw that he was the musical guest, I changed the channel right then. Granted, he wasn't on the entire show and my not watching made no impact on anyone but me, but I wasn't going to watch anything with him on it. The idea that they would book him after all his bad behavior, I just didn't want any part of it.
  2. We never had any problems either, but like you, we only every 3 or 4 months.
  3. I know....we took him to Monster Trucks first, culture at it's best!!!!
  4. We took 3rd grader to see the Nutcracker at the Fox tonite and he loved it, I was a little worried because the tickets were expensive, even at half price. We told him the basic story and asked if he wanted to go and explained in great detail that even if he got bored and hated it, too bad. It was fine if he said no, but once he was committed, he had to go and act appropriately. We had great seats and he loved it, thankfully. At the end, he was standing up applauding and he leaned over and said, 'Wow Mom, I wish I could whistle like they do on TV!' And with that, he took his cue from th
  5. And she was rude how? There is a rude post in this topic, but it wasn't hers. She's the least rude person on Pcom and if I were her, I'd be glad that you didn't want to use my services.
  6. Is falling 'off' the steps the same as falling 'down' the steps? How tall were these steps? This is so sad, what a terrible thing to have happen.
  7. WSB got it wrong....who knew!?!?! http://paulding.com/forum/index.php?/topic/258803-foul-play-ultimately-dismissed-in-womans-death/page__pid__3324841#entry3324841
  8. I swear this was on the 12:00 news a few months back while Hubby and I were watching........'We have breaking news on Bankhead hwy, where there is police activity. We don't know yet what the activity is pertaining to, but when we have more information we will let you know'. HUH?!?!? Are you kidding? Thats breaking news?!?!
  9. No offense, but Channel 2 OFTEN reports their stories with sensationalism, they just sound better I guess. Thats why I believe almost nothing that is reported on the news or at least not the tidbits they seem to tack on the story for a bigger 'pop'.
  10. My friend works for a dentist in Smyrna and he insists on pics with resumes and hires only the cutest girls, their qualifications are secondary to their looks. Pretty crappy, huh?!?!?!
  11. I'm totally with you! He actually was railing on Taylor Swift again last week for not coming to HIS DEFENSE after he acted like such an A$$ to her at the awards show. HUH!!!???!!!!??? But once again, as long as he is making someone a dollar, he will get away with anything he wants to, what a D!@K!!!!!!! And for the record...I don't love Taylor Swift, shes OK, but he screwed up that day. My daughter had about 40 songs on out iTunes by him and she erased them all after his little stunt. She did me proud!!!!!!!
  12. There was a 'lady' at Walmart on Dallas Hwy in a yellow shirt that picked everything she wanted off the pallets wrapped in plastic that others were waiting for and had filled up 2 carts by 11:30pm with stuff that wasn't supposed to go on sale until 12:01am. She had several of each thing that so many other people were waiting patiently for like a load of towels, storage bins, ect. All of which didn't go on sale until 12:01. Why do some people think that they are so much more important than everyone else? She pushed through, got what she thought she was entitled to in front of all the waiter
  13. Like all the other nuts, we were at Walmart to scout out where the merchandise was that we wanted and to set up shop at the most important things to get them first. We got there about 11:15pm, found all our stuff and at 12:01am, we were able to get everything we wanted and were out and home by 1:15am. We unloaded, got back in the car and headed to Target on 41 in Acworth and arrived there about 2:20am. They didn't open until 4:00am, so we had a pretty good wait. But......we had more fun in line, laughing and cutting up with the people around us than the shopping itself. That is unt
  14. BRAVO!!!! This is one of the best posts I've read on here in a while!!!! :good: :good: :clapping:
  15. These are the stupidest kids on the planet, this isn't the first time this has happened.
  16. I took it in the spirit in which it was meant.....I LOVE Paul Lynde, super funny guy!!
  17. Yep, we like stocking stuffing too!!
  18. Anytime! YUP. See, I like to think that I'm a reasonable and just person, but in truth, I may not be. I have absolutely no problem with the idea of torturing this jerk until he talks, starve him, beat him, I don't care....he's evil and deserves no better.
  19. It's a mix for me. My sister passed on November 5, 2007, her birthday was Nov. 16, then Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years, which she loved all of it. But, we have our kids and the grandbabies, new friends that we are spending Thursday with and we are healthy and Hubby is employed. It's weird to me that you really can move past the worst sadness and grief imaginable and survive. So, maybe I am looking forward to it more than I thought. Thank you for making me take stock!!!
  20. I do. This year we agreed to nothing over $20.00 which is WAY below what we usually spend on each other. The reason for that is, is that there is a wonderful lady at Hubbys work who had brain cancer. She had Gamma Knife surgery that got rid of the cancer, but has screwed up her neurological system big time. She is now in rehab and getting better, but it's going to be a long road to haul. She is out of vacation time and sick time and they guys in the the department each donated one of their sick days to her, so she had three extra weeks of pay. All of that is gone, SSI will take too lo
  21. I wonder whose it is then and if they will even try to figure out who it is? At this point though, I don't trust the officials on that island at all. Arrest, let go.....arrest, let go......arrest, let go....I think they are a bunch of idiots who have no clue what they are doing. If I were Beth Twitty, I'd want the bone tested here in the US for confirmation, but I seriously doubt that that will happen. This poor Mom and entire family. This Vandersloot guy is the Devil himself.
  22. We have seen Megamind twice and we all loved it. There were teen couples on dates there too and they seemed to like it as well. It has the voices of Will Ferrell, Tina Fey and Brad Pitt.
  23. I thought the car wouldn't crank if the flower wasn't in the vase!!!!!
  24. That would make her 32. Yea...and I was born in 79'.
  25. Sears also has layaway and they probably have a better selection than Kmart. Make sure you get a Craftsman set if you end up getting one at Kmart. In the past they have had non Craftsman tools all together with the Craftsman, you don't want a crappy set. I added the link for Sears Layaway. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/dap_10153_12605_DAP_Sears%2BLayaway
