  1. I went into the Dallas office yesterday, no wait thank goodness and returned all 5 boxes and remotes. When I told the lady that I was canceling my service, she asked why and I told her. She kind of bit her lip and looked embarrassed. I explained that while I loved the service, the cost was ridiculous and that no one was willing to work with me to keep me as a customer. She apologized more than once, said that she completely understood and that the policy was to KEEP customers, not to run them off. So...it's done. And by the way, DirectTV and AT&T internet has been great. The o
  2. You are SOOOO my kind of gal!!!!!
  3. YOU ARE RIGHT!! How about the ones that emit sound up to hundreds of decibels? The sound only effects the people in front of the device, you can stand behind it and even to the side and suffer no ill effects.
  4. I have been to both. Hot Shots allows NO rapid fire, they will toss you. Nicks on Canton Hwy has lanes for rifles and hand guns and don't seem to have a problem with rapid fire. Creekside Firing range is in Taylorsville, near Plant Bowen on Old Alabama rd. They have a website that you can check out, that's where we usually go. http://www.creeksidefiringrange.com/ There are 50, 100, & 300 yard rifle ranges, a pistol range, a place for skeet and I think a pace to shoot arrows.
  5. I'm sorry, but these idiots need to be mowed down with a big gun. I think there should be a congregation to go to their church and disrupt any and every service that they have, simply because THEY are offensive. I wonder how this will play out in Raleigh. I think people love this woman there and I'm not sure they will let anyone get away with these kinds of antics. How could you have a brain in your head and act this way 'in the name of God'? I think they are offending God.
  6. I like that! I guess I'll go to the office, for some oddball reason, I didn't think of that.
  7. Yep, he is! http://washingtondc.fbi.gov/henry.htm
  8. OMG!! I got one from him too, except mine said that the FBI had been monitoring a transaction between me and the Bank of Nigeria and it was an illegal transaction and since I had been scammed that there was a reward of $800,000.00 that I could collect by sending all my verifying info and $200.00 for processing. Your brother is a busy man for sure!! Even more ironic.......my son-in-laws last name is Henry too.
  9. That is one thing that bothers me, it seems to depend on the operator you get as to the service you get. It seems to me, it should be the same across the board. In this day and age, you'd think that it would be to your benefit to keep a customer after 14 years, but I guess not.
  10. YUP!! And I gave them the chance and was nice when the call began and was still told no. The nice gal changed pretty quickly!
  11. People answer 24/7, but when I say I want to cancel, I get transferred and the above recording. Thats good for you, but when I called with 2 services for $179.00 a month, I was told I couldn't get bundle service because the specials that they were offering were for new customers only, so I switched to AT&T and Direct TV.
  12. If you can, I can't find ANY button to push to let me do that. I'm very frustrated!
  13. I have been trying to cancel my Comcast service for 3 days now. I call the customer service number, punch all the right numbers and wait and wait. When I finally get a person, I'm told to hold for someone who can help me, the a recording says, 'Thank you for calling Comcast, please call back during regular business hours'. I am calling during business hours and after hours.....WTH?!?!
  14. My thoughts exactly. What if next time they leave this child with a practical stranger who isn't so nice, what then? Someone needs to call and report these people on principle.
  15. What a sad, sad loss for everyone. She seems like someone that you'd just want to know......kind and decent, unlike her idiot former husband. Prayers sent to her and her children.
  16. That's Hubby's question too. He thinks that those words mean that you can use whatever form of cash you want to pay for something. Business establishments think otherwise though. When we were in New York, I found a picture I wanted, went to pay for it with a $20.00, it was $10.00, and the lady insisted I pay with something smaller. She was really snooty and I politely put the item back and told her to have a good day in my most southern accent. She was stunned and then tried to beck peddle and be nice.......too late lady. I got the same picture down the street for $8.00 and a smile.
  17. It could all just be in my head, but I swear by it. I get my giant pills at Sams and they are about $14.00 a bottle and I'm a cheapskate, but I pay it. If I don't take it for a few days, I can tell a difference for sure. Good luck!
  18. We have a change in plans.....we are going to be IN the parade. Luke, from Tender Loving Pet grooming called and wanted to know if we wanted to walk in the parade with him and 3rd grader is bouncing off the walls he's so excited!! I've know Luke since he and Timmy started this business and I'm so proud that it has grown like it has and that Paulding county has helped him become successful!! WOOHOO!! See ya'll tomorrow!!!
  19. He told us about that and my daughter is excited to try it.
  20. Why did I think that this was so difficult? Oh nevermind.....this is the same woman who forgot to but the beef in the vegetable beef soup yesterday!! Thanks ya'll! But I can just see it now, his screen name will be momof3Hubby. He'd do that, I swear!!!
