  1. YEA....she was bragging to me about how awful she was and that she pitched a fit, she thought it was so cute and funny. I told her right quick that I didn't think it was funny at all and that if were me at that counter, her a$$ would still be in Atlanta. Believe me, we are all pissed that security didn't handle it differently. Like I said, this is just another notch in her belt proving to her in her own mind that the rules, any rules, don't apply to her.
  2. Agreed! Hubby and SIL have shoulder holsters that they wear over sized button up shirts and you can't see them, they also have belt holsters, but they still cover them with a shirt or jacket. Never, never in plain sight.
  3. Well, it did and if you want it changed back, call your representative. Until then, it's legal.
  4. Thank you!!!! And yes, it was Delta. Yep.............she's a mess!
  5. It was just passed in June of last year, it's new. Hubby always carries or has a gun in his car and he would NEVER go pick up 3rd grader with anything in the car. Now, we don't have to worry about it and as long as we are with the car, which we usually are, or it's locked inside, we aren't breaking any laws by having it there.
  6. Sure she did........................a really scary picture!
  7. We talked about that when we got the ticket, but no, it's round trip!
  8. I know, I thought about sending it to her, but there wasn't time to get it to her before she came home. When Hubby and I went to therapy with her, her therapist told us to stop enabling her and pulling her out of the messes she gets herself into and they are many. There is so much drama, it's unbelievable.
  9. Nope. She was visiting a friend in Florida and will be back tomorrow, that is, if they let her on the plane in St. Pete. What if they won't let her on the plane? HHHMMMMMMM!!!?? Thats an idea. This behavior is so common for her, the rules simply don't apply to her, thats one of my biggest problems with this, aside from the security breach. Hubby found her license in the secretary by her front door, who knows?!
  10. Are you ready for the kicker, I don't think you are........My BIL, her own son, is the person who hired the guy in charge of security at the airport, he works for the mayor. He IS NOT a happy camper and I don't think I have any other choice but to report it. I mean, how would you like to fly on a plane with someone who had no pic ID and they let them on the plane anyway!!!????? OMG!!!!
  11. I have to say that it is kind of scary, however, it is much better for a lawful person with a carry permit to have access to his/her firearm just in case some nut without a lawful permit, starts shooting up the school. The odds are great I know, but most every single person with a carry permit aren't going to be the ones acting a fool at school.
  12. Yes, on school grounds. I got the info straight of of the pamphlet I got when we renewed our carry permits last year and the clerk explained the new rules very clearly. Yep, thats the same code I posted earlier.
  13. ........if you pitch a big enough fit and WHINE until the airport staff can't take it anymore. Unbelievable!! There is no link, my MIL did it, just one more feather in her cap proving that she can and will do WHATEVER she wants. UUURRRRRRGGGGGGGG!!!
  14. You're kidding, right? You know what everyone else is thinking? You are so far off base, you're not even in the park anymore. A thug, is a thug, is a thug, YOU are the one who brought race into it and to try to pawn your own skewed idea of 'skeery' off on others and call them to task for it, is way past ridiculous.
  15. It's interesting to me that this dad didn't seem to have a problem with his intelligent, well rounded childs education while he was married to her mother. If she is excelling and doing well, where is the issue?
  16. If you have a carry permit, you can have a gun in your car if your vehicle is locked or under your direct control, on any government owned property, including the board of education. GA code #16-11-127 as of June 9, 2010.
  17. That is true. It's like on the news when they talk about 'semi automatic' guns, the inflection they use makes people think that a semi is like a machine gun when that is not at all the case. One trigger pull, one bullet and it reloads itself, thats all a 'semi automatic' is. I'm very interested as to what kind of gun it was.
