  1. I question whether she is 'demented' in any way, shape or form. She is as neat as a pen, her hair has been done every time I have ever seen her and also in the pic of her that was posted, she drives just fine and can find her way around town AND she keeps coming up with different stories to dupe people with. Shes in her right mind enough to know that she has to lie to take advantage of people, if this were a 35 year old man or a 20 year old woman doing the same thing, the outcry would be far worse IMO.
  2. I'll be there, I'm getting cupcakes for Hubby's work. He LOVES red velvet cupcakes!
  3. If it's still pink and cool, I'd keep it. It was so cold last night and unless your car was in a heated space, it should be fine. There would be no question if it was bad, it would smell and be gray and warm.
  4. Produce, vegetables and fruits, are full of salt, fat and corn syrup? Really? I missed that in nutrition class I guess. Exactly. Thank you!
  5. I think it is relevant as to who a candidate it trying to reach with his/her message. They may want to target a specific demographic with social media that they may not reach otherwise. Are senior citizens on FB and Twitter, maybe not, but that may not be the crowd they are after to go to the polls.
  6. I don't participate in FB or Twitter so for me, it is a non-issue. But practically everyone I know looks to those things for insight, entertainment and information. Politicians will use ANYTHING to get their name and agenda out there and honestly, it would probably be shortsighted if they didn't.
  7. You're probably right, it is more difficult to think for yourself than it is to listen and believe someone else. Kind of like lemmings running toward the edge of the cliff............
  8. I hate this for her family, but is anyone surprised? Sad.
  9. I agree, but it's their own fault. As I've said before, it's much easier to follow along than to blaze a path. It just shows how ignorant and closed minded so many people can be.
  10. Yep, scary. Also, people need to very, very careful what they say or write implying anything about killing a President or applauding someone who has tried or does it. The Secret Service doesn't play, has VERY BIG ears and I wouldn't want to find my behind in that sling. But that's just me.
  11. No kiddin', but I'd go with sick and pathetic as opposed to sad.
  12. What a cute couple, I think you look great!
  13. This is so funny! I remember Sauls and all of the places at Cobb Center. My niece potty trained herself when she was right at 2, because she saw and wanted 'fancy panties' from Kesslers, they had ruffles on them. The condition was that she had to use the potty and I'll be danged if it didn't work beautifully!! I recall the cafeteria and I think it was called Davis Bros. and it seems like that there was a KFC attached and that is where they got their chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy.....YUM!!!! I got my first set of dishes at Woolworths. This has brought back so many good memories, thank
  14. Yep, shes got to get her scratch off money from somewhere.
  15. Great post! There are gay couples who have been together 10, 20, 30 years, explain to me W-H-Y the shouldn't be offered the same benefits as any other spouse. A lot of people may not want to admit it, but a gay couple can have a traditional relationship just like straight people can. One person can work and the other may stay home and care for the kids and the house. That spouse shouldn't get the working partners benefits because they are gay. RUBBISH!
  16. I'm right there with you. My nephew is gay and so is my son-in-laws brother and they are two of the best people I know. They are intelligent, kind, generous, funny and productive citizens with good, stable jobs. They have great friends that I enjoy being around, they are people, just like me. Who they love has absolutely no bearing on how I live my life. But it's always in the back of my mind that something like this could happen to them and I simply can't imagine it. The cowards in this video are animals and could only hope to half the person that so many gay people are. I believe
  17. Yowsa!!! This is a great post!!!!! :clapping:
  18. OMG, JCP Outlet!!!! That is where I met Hubby and I had forgotten about Cloth World!! AAAHHHH, the memories!
  19. You're kidding right?!! Reality is that there ARE gay people everywhere and just because you think it's 'not normal', doesn't make it true.
  20. I'm not clouding anything, I'm calling it as I see it regardless if you want to admit it or not. It's always the same OLD argument, 'Being gay goes against good, Christian family values. It goes against God. It goes against the Bible. It's against Gods word.' I'm not the one spouting that, Christians are, because the are so threatened by something different than themselves.
  21. Holy cow! :clapping: This man is my new hero......you go boy. Poor dumb, put upon Hannah would be glad to go back to how 'hard' her life was when I was done with her.
