  1. I know it's hard, been there done that, but know that your Pcom family is behind you hoping and praying that all goes well!
  2. I haven't been able to get you and your family off of my mind since I read your post. As a parent, regardless of what is 'best', more often than not you feel guilty if something is wrong with your child and you can't fix it. PLEASE, PLEASE don't feel that way. From everything I have read, you have been diligent in trying to help your son. It may seem bad to say, but at some point, your entire family deserves a chance to live without fear and angst and sometimes you try your best but things don't go the way you want. Take this break while your son is getting help and make the best of it. I
  3. What an idiot neighbor!!!!!! You would get yourself shot in my neck of the woods!
  4. From what I have read about this, the only thing the nurse did was put a call through to the caregivers of Kate and that nurse was the one who gave out the info. Did I read that wrong? It's in the link above about the dj's being off the air.
  5. Yep, and the thing is, is that she was and still is a great kid to have. No drugs, no arrests, no running away, she has always worked, etc., so I guess that prank wasn't so bad.
  6. I don't like pranks either and the maddest I have ever been at my youngest daughter was because of a prank. Most will think that this is really funny, not me or Hubby and we have really great senses of humor. We had spent 4 hours rearranging and cleaning our living room. Ya' know how when you start moving things around, you find hidden dust, lost things under the sofa, etc. Well, we had worked and worked and were finished just in time to pick up 2nd grader (now 5th grader). After we picked him up, we went to get a milk shake and when we got home and walked in the L/R, it was exactly h
  7. No, the nurse violated it when she gave out info on a patient, regardless of who it was. They asked for info and got it, which they shouldn't have gotten anything. Having said that, they should be in trouble for the prank itself, not because the nurse killed herself, that seems a little far fetched to me. It is sad, but I find it hard to believe that this was the only issue in this womans life to cause her to make the choice she did.
  8. Horse pucky! What keeps an addict addicted is the fact that they keep taking drugs. If you never start, you won't become addicted. NO SYMPATHY HERE!!!!!!!!!! Even the biggest idiot on the planet knows that meth is addicting after one time and they CHOOSE to do it anyway. If this response means that I have an "uppity attitude", well, then I guess I have to own that very attitude.
  9. Fine, upstanding citizens my behind! Those were ridiculous comments from the get go.
  10. I COMPLETELY agree with you. I HATE pranks, they are so seldom funny except to those pulling them.
  11. Bless your heart, I'm so sorry for your troubles and I pray your son gets the help he needs.
  12. No, because the person who was stupid enough to drink water until they died for a contest, KNEW what they were doing and had a choice. This woman was the butt of a prank and a hoax. She had no clue what was going on.
  13. After this post, the idea that you would have the nerve to call ANYONE dumb is beyond reason. Did you even read what you wrote? This isn't a cell where texting lingo is acceptable, it's a chat board. Either spell out your words like a real person or don't post. It's ANNOYING.
  14. I'm obviously out of the loop, because I have no idea what prank was pulled. I HATE pranks, aside from the rubber band on the sink sprayer, they are mean and hurtful so much of the time. What happened? It also makes me think that something else was going on in her life to make her take such drastic action. It's sad.
  15. I'm in love with you, just so you know!!!!!   I ran out of actual plus marks by the time I got to this post, so I'm giving you +10. +10 :clapping: She is no way a 'good woman', the 'good woman' I want around me isn't a meth head in denial who helped in getting her husband killed.
  16. She's 47? SERIOUSLY!?!?! NO WAY! I'm 50 and next to her I look about 10. Good LORD! I'm sorry, but people who aren't meth heads can afford to be a little self righteous. This broad is a drug addicted, loser who spouted crap about the LE, all the while saying, 'they wasn't no drugs here'.
  17. Yea, me too. I'm stunned by her loveliness. GAAAAAAD!
  18. There is a Goodwill on Roswell rd in Buckhead..........love it!!! I believe that if I find an item, buy it and find the Hope Diamond in the pocket, it's mine.
  19. I was at Last Chance Thrift on Thornton rd. on Saturday and there was a big sign on the front door that said something to the effect of, 'Please check the pockets of anything you purchase, we donated and didn't realize that there was a very large sum of money in one of the articles of clothing that we dropped off'.
  20. Once again, I'm SOOOO THANKFUL your husband is OK and it makes me all weepy. What a blessing!
  21. I guess it's a good day in Douglasville when that is the 'breaking news', lame as it may be!!
  22. Blue Plate. ALWAYS. Only Blue Plate. When we travel, I take a jar with me, Hubby says he can't tell the difference..........but OH you can!!!!
